Q:I've had a couple Ryobi hand held foggers and when you tip them up to reach higher in a tree they won't produce fog, I assume it'll be the same with this?

Q:I previously tried Bifen IT with the Ryobi Fogger/Mister Model #P2805BTL. You have to mix the Bifen IT with water, and the particles in the mix must have been large enough that they would clog the Ryobi fogger. Does this sprayer allow larger microns?

      Answer This Question

A:  Hello, Mosquitoseason - Thank you for your question. I am sorry, but we do not have information on the microns for either item. They are both foggers that work the same way. If Bifen did not work in the previous one it will likely not work in this one either. I hope this helps! A:  It is not nearly as loud as a gas fogger. I didn't use ear protection and had no problem.

            Great fogger
This is a great fogger/sprayer for professional or DIY use. This 3 gallon Pack is light enough to lug around for a good amount of time unlike the 5 gallon pack which is a bit heavy when fully loaded. The 3 gallon can spray 5-28 gallons per charge depending on if the fan is used. Spray range is 5-15 feet which is good to reach over hedges and up to most eves. This is a great for pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides. There is really nothing bad I can say about this product. Make sure to wear a respirator. Just bought a new for using this. Definitely recommend.

Had high hope for this new fogger, but it turned out that it's very hard to prime it before use as it takes a long time to prime, if at all. Also, why can't Ryobi create a fogger that does NOT need to prime like every other makers of cold foggers???

Works, although inline filter easily plugs up. Would be better to also filter on the way in, but I can do that. Some pesticides work fine and don’t clog. Sprays about as expected, not like a true engine fogger, but much lighter and easier.

Fogger that's cordless and not heavy !
This is a nice Ryobi Brushless One + 18V fogger and sprayer ! Uses a battery and this is supplied! I have other Ryobi tools and this one does the job. First of all it's a Fogger /Sprayer to be used to get rid of peaky insects or fog your plants to help their growth READ the description and the INSTRUCTIONS which are provided by manufacturer. It's easy to use ! A full tank would be about 3 gallons. I recommend this Ryobi tool As with other products they make it's quality and a reasonable price.

Hello, DIY65 - We are sorry to read about your unsatisfactory experience with the backpack fogger/sprayer! This product may be used with consumer-grade home and garden chemicals such as insecticides, fungicides, weed killers, and fertilizers. But it shouldn't be used with cleaners and disinfectants, which may be contributing to your issue. If you would, please be looking for an email from us at Reviews@RYOBItools.com. We'd appreciate a chance to discuss your experience further and work with you to find a good resolution. RYOBIOutdoorTools

It's not bad, we've used it to spray permethrin for ticks, and it does work well. However and sort of breeze or wind blows it back on you - so be aware of spraying. The 15 foot reach is a bit questionable, as the cone of spray is so wide the blower doesn't seem to catch most of the liquid to propel it outwards. On very calm still days it seems to work fine though.

                Alternative to Gas Fogger
I really didn't want to buy a gas fogger to spray Talstar P and ExciteR to my yard to control mosquitos. A couple of things about this, the user manual and the chemical compatibility list are not correct on the listing so be aware. This is model P2808. You can change the droplet size 60, 100, 200 microns. I'm happy to say this worked perfectly for my needs. This is a good alternative to a gas fogger for relatively light duty.
