Rain Bird RCKIT-1PS Drip Irrigation Conversion Kit. Convenient kit converts underground sprinklers and 1/2" risers to water-saving Drip irrigation. All-in-one unit provides 30 PSI pressure regulation and 200-mesh filter screen for optimal Drip system performance. Saving up to 80% over sprinkler watering, Drip systems apply water directly to the root zone for healthier plants. In most instances, owners of Rain Bird 1800 Series pop-up sprinklers will make the conversion without digging. Kit will replace all pop-up sprinklers with a 1/2" threaded bottom inlet. If you have another brand dig out and remove old sprinkler and thread kit to existing 1/2" male fitting. Easy Fit Tee tubing connector allows for assembly to any 1/2" or 5/8" Drip tubing. Constructed of highly durable UV and chemical-resistant materials to assure long life. Requires capping other heads on the zone. Inlet pressure 15 to 70 PSI.

Is this only one size? I bought the other conversion kit and found out the filter is 4 inches but my sprinkler spring is 3 and half inches. I only want to replace the sprinkler head internals because its bottom is buried between pavers.

Can the screw-on head be used with the body of an 1800 sprinkler with a side water inlet? What if the existing sprinkler body is longer than the body of this replacement drip adapter sprinkler?
Yes. Rain Bird 1800 bodies (including side inlet models) still use a standard 1/2" female threaded outlet at the top The side inlet just changes how water enters the body—not what screws into the top. So the riser connection kit or drip adapter will thread right into the top regardless of side vs bottom inlet. Yes, you can add backflow preventer.
Can rain bird elbow model # EFE-25 be used instead of the Tee that is provided with this.
Yes, an elbow can be used versus the tee provided if you only want to use tubing in one direction.
How can I make these flush with the ground? Do I have to have the filter inside and “sprinkler” body?

I would like to only convert 1 sprinkler head to drip and keep 3 pop up sprinklers on the same line Will that work?
Yes, but if you do this you need to think about the time for the zone. If the sprinklers are only on for 10 minutes, and you need 1 gallon of water for whatever you are watering with drip, you would need up to (6) 1 GPH drippers to get that gallon in 10 minutes. For this purpose, one drip head on a zone of sprinklers is normally not recommended, but with a little thought and planning you can make it work.
