Q:The inside diameter of the T and the connector between the T and the body are considerably smaller than 1/2" so the 200/200 should not apply. What is the max length (both sides of T) of drip line can I use and how many GPH should I plan to get?

Let me start by saying this is working and I currently do not have any issues with the product. But this was only after I made another trip to the store and purchased additional fittings.
I purchased three of these on-line. All three of the boxes were sealed when I received them but they are all missing the 1/2" to 3/4" fitting (the piece in between the tee and the valve body). I had already cut my pipe so I had to go back to Home Depot and purchase the fittings to connect the tee to the valve body.
I looked at the only unit that was on the shelf and it was sealed and missing the fitting as well.
Make sure you have the fitting before purchasing the kit or buy 3/4" male to 1/2" female fittings before you leave the store.

Easy to install. Converting shrubs to drip saves a lot of water.

Changing out a traditional Rain Bird 1800 spray is as easy as a free drink at a public water fountain. This is a 5 minute conversion to drip. You will still need the 1/2" drip line tubing, some tubing stakes and emitters. It's worth the time and energy.
Whoever came up with this product is helping people save water, money on their bill and eliminating dead plants when watered with drip.

Excellent fit for my application. Since there are no moving parts I buried it to prevent damage in order to drip water a row of bushes on property line.

Leaks
I really love these cnvesion kits but it is extremely difficult to get the 1/2 water line into the t, and no matter what I do, it leaks. Very frustrating. It is in far enough, and the tubing bends when I try to push it in any firther. So frustrating!. I'm jsut going to plant little plants arond it to not waste the water! It does not leak on every single one, about 1/2 of them leak.
