Compact Umbrella
This is a pretty handy umbrella to stow in the truck for rainy days. It folds up to a compact 12.25" in length thanks to the triple-articulated ribs, and extends rapidly with the press of a button. It shakes completely dry with just a few quick open/close cycles too - not leaving a drop of water on it at all! I like that the ends of the ribs have rounded balls on the end, since I've had other umbrellas before that I was afraid would put my eye out. It's got a decent one-person sized canopy at 36" diameter (39" if you measure diagonally), but it's not the currently advertised 46" on the HD website. I used it in a strong storm today, and it definitely got a workout. Buckets of rain were pouring down at a 20-30° angle from vertical, with strong gusts of wind. The umbrella kept my upper body dry, but my pant legs got wet. In a regular rain without much wind, this should keep you pretty much completely dry. However, I did manage to flip the umbrella inside out very quickly when I tilted it (on purpose) to catch the wind. When I angled the top against the wind like I would during actual use, it bunched up to about 2/3 of its full diameter during the strongest gusts. Like I said earlier, this was a very strong storm at what I'm estimating to be 30-35 MPH wind gusts, since it was getting difficult to walk without being affected. I doubt most rainstorms will provide such a challenge to the umbrella.

A handsome, lightweight umbrella
This color trim auto open umbrella by Rainbrella is a great companion for the raining season. Its one touch opener was imprinted with clear arrow and when pushed and the umbrella opens up in less than a second. It is so light weight that it is easy to carry around. I wish it also come with a carrying case for storage. Otherwise, a great umbrella for the raining days.

Great umbrella
i have never kept an umbrella until now. They have always seemed sloppy but this one I like. It has a single button push to open and a nice wide Velcro strap to pull around to hold it closed when collapsed. I even like the color of it. In southern California it doesn't rain that much but I've had a need for this for awhile. This one doesn't look cheep.

Very Functional
If you are looking for a good short-handled umbrella, this will fit the bill. The coverage width when open is very good. I'd say greater than usual for a short-handle umbrella. I personal do not like the short handle, but the coverage width makes up for it. And I do realize the shorter handle makes it much more compact and easier to carry in a totebag or briefcase. The fabric seems very durable and the red piping around the edge makes it very stylish. The mechanism is mostly metal, maybe aluminum, but opens rapidly with great gusto! So much that it scares my dog each time I use it. It is very easy to open and close. The Velcro tab that holds it closed is wider for better coverage and keeps the fabric in place better. It's very functional.

Easy open; sturdy; good value.
This umbrella was easy to open and use, even with one hand, as demonstrated in my video. Not a single drop seeped through the fabric, and a brief gust didn't "break" the spines, as some umbrellas might. I had to use two hands to close it, and it was a bit stiff, but, that's probably because it's new. Competitively priced and sturdy. I recommend it.

Compact design, big features
Really nice umbrella for carrying in your bag every day. Not the lightest compact I've seen at about half a pound, but very sturdy. This stem (you know, the part that usually snaps on these things) and a nice wide handle. Favorite parts are the button and the velcro strap though. Why do designers think a compact design needs a tiny little button you can't find in the rain? This button is huge, and easy to feel for or spot. And the velcro strap is wide and well attached, so you won't find your umbrella broken after accidentally opening in your bag.

The umbrella is made of good quality and durable. It’s a bit on the small size but otherwise it’s great.
