Q:IS it recommended to have this professionally installed? I currently have three roof turbines and thought replacing the center would work best.

      Answer This Question

A:  Let’s just say it’s super easy for a professional. If you have a handyman with some roofing experience, that’s more than you need. If you’re comfortable getting on your roof, you just have to be able to flash under the shingles and screw down so it’s actually very easy if you’re comfortable on your roof.

          Great investment
I bought 2 of these to go with the existing wind turbines I had on my roof. So far I feel like these are definitely helping to keep the attic cooler. They are quiet, easy to install, and look great as well. They also definitely feel well made and look more pleasing to the eye compared to some of the other brands on the market. Highly recommend!

            Remington solar attic fan
Had a roofer redo my roof and installed my new solar attic fan. Attic fan was no working correctly . So I figured it out, my roofer forgot to cut the zip tie to let the thermostat hang. Once it hung it would not shut off . Working amazing. Pulling out hot air from roof .

              Poor performance
12 hours ago installed The solar power fan the first thing noticed found rotation slow and ready to stop immediately. Who the sun high in the sky rotation started after 10 AM central time USA poor speed Dash poor air displacement - I highly doubt if removes 1000 CFM- The heat accumulating in the attic space as before. Thanks

Installed to the south side of a barn. Installation was simple quick and easy. This reduced the temperature inside the barn by about 8゚ which is more than is sufficient. All the parts and instructions were simple easy to understand. This is the 2nd installation of this product as the first one was destroyed in Camp Fire.

defective.... installers arrived prompt, took the fan out of the box, and fan was working in direct sunlight, good, but not so much as it was only 37 degrees on an early March morning.... guessing a defective thermostat, with hole in roof, installers on site, and not knowing when next available day would be, opted to have the guys put it up.... Heres to hoping the motor lasts, and the thermostat to normalize. very disappointed....

I installed two of these fans. The installation was easily done in one morning. They work very well in full sun. They do not run if there is any shade.
