        Q:Does this hold a standard size trash container? I have one of these in the home I recently bought and can't get a replacement container to fit into it. Trash bags are sized by the gallon, not quart. Would a 13 Gal kitchen bag be closest size?

        A:  This holds a Rev-A-Shelf 35 qrt trash bin and you can order replacements online if you search for RV-35. If you convert quarts to gallons 35 is 8.75 gallons. 8 gallon trash bags would be too small, so you have to go up to a standard 13 gallon trash bag.

          A:  I don’t see a lid in this photo.   Mine has no lid and I’ve never seen one that came with a lid

            A:  There is no lid in the attached photo, nor did I receive one. I would find a lid cumbersome because you would have to pull it all the way out to remove the lid. Many times I only pull it out a couple inches to drop something in. We replace bags about every three days and haven’t noticed any odors.

                Smooth pul-out slide
                My old waste container glider is rusty and hard to pull in and out. I finally decided to replace it with this new one. It did not disappoint me. Installation was pretty easy for me: unscrew the old one and install the new one (in my case the old and new are of the same model). Time will tell how long it will last.

                  This was a replacement for 15-yr old trash container slide....
                  This was a replacement for 15-yr old trash container slide. Used the parts that attached to the wood front panel from the old slide and attached to the new system using rivets. Was fairly easy to install - getting everything centered in the cabinet and then with the front panel takes a little effort, but not difficult. New system works great, slides smoothly. Looking forward to getting 15 yrs from this one - sure we will.
