This PVC termination kit works with the Rheem tankless water heaters. I purchased two water heaters along with the connection link cable for the water heaters. I needed two of these to go along with the installation.
Came in white, but I sprayed this "Copper Rose Metallic" since it's facing the exterior of my modern house. Everything worked out well with this product. Would recommend.

I am not a plumber or an electrician. I have no experience installing major appliances like a $4,000 tankless hot water heater (THWH) (Intellihot iQ251, First Gen). I was very concerned that this item might not work. And I had no idea if it would fit in the rather cramped space where I ideally wanted to locate it. It all worked perfectly. I can be completely taken apart to be sized, lengthwise to fit a location. I would recommend it to anyone who is installing a high efficiency gas appliance. I am going to replace the double pipes that are used for my furnace later this year. One hint, if you are self installing. Look carefully at the vent holes on your unit. The "straight-through" in this concentric vent for exhausting flue gases. The 45º fitting intake, combustion air. Your installation will be better if you have to 45) fitting pointing up. That way any humidity in the inlet air that might condense in the pipe will not trickle into the unit causing an error. Also be sure to angle the vent down to the heater. It seems counter intuitive (wouldn't you want the vent line to angle down away from the unit so condensate trickles out. But thats not the recommendation of any THWH manufacturers that I researched. In the picture of the vent as it appears outside of the house you can maybe see I hot-glued a piece of stainless steel screen to the end of the tube to prevent any critters from entering.

The fins on the back of the cone piece were broken off due to poor packaging and it arrived two days later than expected
I superglued them back on however and the product functions as it should
This is the second item I have ordered from Home Depot and both arrived in pieces

Watch out!!!
If you are installing this Concentric Vent in a "Vertical Configuration" an elbow of 45 degrees is REQUIRED for the fresh air side vent (see picture). I'm totally confused why Rheem/Home Depot would include a 90 degree elbow with the kit. Sure 90 degree elbows can be used elsewhere in custom venting configurations but they are not required. Rheem should include a 45 not 90 degree elbow (with the kit) then let custom installers add their own 90s and vent pipe to complete their custom installations. If they don't see the value in doing the above, they at least should sell a 3" Schedule 40 (45 degree) Elbow Part to fix the kit shortcoming......watch out!
