I bought this in July of 2022. After two and a half summer seasons the plastic has begun to deteriorate. Why do you advertise 10-year when it can barely make 1/4 of the time before it is disintegrating?

Yes it prevents evaporation and helps the pool maintain heat. We can keep the pool 10-15 degrees warmer than normal. And usually get into the water a month earlier.

It only covers the seams splitting. I have had three covers similar to this and the big issue is the breakdown of the plastic itself and the bubbles deteriorating. The last one I had was sun2Solar� 1600 and it lasted 1 summer.
