Q:Would this product work on cabinets that need stripping/sanding. Home we just purchased had very badly painted cabinets: streaks, runs, drips, divots that need filling, some edges may need to be re-profiled with a router exposing bare wood, etc.

Worked great
I followed a YouTube tutorial to change my mantle from an orange color to a wood stained look using this glaze. It was so easy and came out great!

I used this on my kitchen cabinet doors.
This was so easy to use and we love how it turned out on our kitchen cabinet door’s. If I wasn’t happy with the way one turned out I was able to wipe it down and start over before it dried. This is a wonderful product and I definitely would recommend.

Better than expected!
This glaze was so workable. I glazed over matte and satin paint that I used to create a faux wood grain on my table.
I painted it in sections with a chip brush and wiped it all off with a microfiber towel. The places that didn’t take as much warmth as I would have liked, I simply took my brush with barely any glaze on it and added some extra glaze. It worked way better than expected after reading some of these reviews. I want to glaze everything now!

I use this product to refinish furniture/doors/cabinets. I learned by using the rust-oleum cabinet transformation kit but have expanded my usage to doors/furniture/cabinets. By using the glaze over two coats of paint, it gives furniture/doors etc. a depth that just painting cannot give. Using cheese cloth to wipe off glaze takes practice but the end product is great. I have probably gone through 10 cans of glaze over the years redoing every cabinet/door in both of my houses. I teach friends how to do this method.
