A:  That sounds like an error. Mine came with the proper copper drain. Call Sinkology or Pfister and they will send you the correct one. My faucet came without the clips and Pfister sent them out right away. Remember to use the armor shield that's sent with the kit. It does help protect the copper.

Q:does the copper sink turn green over time?

A:  Not unless you relieve yourself in it and add salt (I'm not kidding) - you have to add the yellow stuff, salt and hydrochloric acid to have it turn green

A:  There’s a copper sink cleaner that I apply occasionally. I’ve had the sink for a year and it looks great still!! You can’t use abrasives on it at all. I love my sink!!

        by|May 5, 2023

A:  We’ve had our sink for 3 months now and have noticed some teal patina. We keep our sink religiously clean and apply the Sinkology Copper Armor once monthly which gives it that rich, dark brown copper look. A lot of people complain about the maintenance with owning a copper sink, but personally it’s not really that much work to rinse your sink out after preparing food. The sink will change color over time, that’s half of the fun. We expected some color change and planned the colors of our kitchen to match copper and teal colorings.

          by|May 5, 2023

A:  I haven't had it too long. It is discoloring in some places, so maybe it will change to green. It has some areas that have turned to a shinier copper.

A:  We bought this sink in April 2017, love it. No green yet, we have hard water so we always wipe it out after every sue. DO not leave fruits or any food with acid in them. Use the polish :) Other than that we love it. B

              by|May 5, 2023

A:  No not so far. We've had the sink for almost a year. I love it! It does get spots in different places and they are always changing depending on what gets put in the sink. Ketchup and other things can put shiny copper spots in it but it looks antique and that's ok with me.

                by|May 5, 2023

A:  Not under regular kitchen conditions. Copper turns green when it reacts with certain cleaning chemicals or acids. We recommend only washing the sink with warm soapy water and a soft cloth and rinse the sink out after heavy use so anything acidic used in the sink won't sit on the copper and turn it green. If it does turn green it can easily be taken off and the dark antique copper color will come back on it's own with time and use.

A:  I've had this sink for several months and it has not turned green. The only issue I have with my copper sinks is hard water staining. If you use the grid that comes with the sink, it will keep it from getting rings from glasses, etc and use the armor all that comes with the kit every month.

                    by|May 5, 2023

A:  The sink will not turn green, but if you have hard water you will need to keep it as dry as possible.

A:  We could polish the sink before we shipped it out, but we don't have a polished copper grid, faucet, or drain to offer.

SINK BRACKETS THAT HOLD SINK DOWN TO COUNTER TOP ARE POORLY GLUED ONTO SINK. WITH LIP ON SINK IT SHOULD HAVE A SEAL THAT GOES INTO LIP OF SINK TO SEAL IT TO THE COUNTER TOP. TRYING TO USE SILICONE BEFORE OR AFTER INSTALLATION IS HARD TO DO.

Just know ahead of time, this looks verybeautiful but very high maintenance! Also if you’re hooking up garbage disposal you will have to buy a special basket that Home Depot doesn’t sell that matches the sink or you’ll have a beautiful copper sink w a stainless disposal basket that looks terrible.

However, when the plumber went to install the sink and faucet I had to decide if I wanted the three hole plate or use two holes in order to have the soap dispenser. The only issue with using the soap dispenser and two holes is that a copper plug was not included to plug the third hole! One would have thought that you would include a smaller plate to cover the third hole so that you could use the soap dispenser. So I ended up not using the soap dispenser because I didn't want that third hole showing! I love the sink and the faucet, but wish more thought had been given into the choices I ended up having to make, I would have loved to have the soap dispenser but didn't want the open third hole, how tacky would that look especially since a plug was not included!

Love the sink. Faucet seems a little bit tight when pulling down and putting back. For some reason the water pressure is lower than when I had my stainless steel pull down.

The faucet in this set is cheap looking. Not a true oil rubbed bronze but a sparkly painted faucet. To the entire thing back and purchased the sink by itself, which is beautiful and good quality. Purchased a true orb faucet and they go together nicely.

Beautiful sink and faucet combination. We had our plumber install and no problems. Contacted Sinkology with order number and requested sink drain flange exchange for the disposal drain flange and for the fourth hole on the sink. They were very accommodating and no delay at all on the shipping. Packaged very well with no damage.

This sink style was exactly what I was looking for -- beauty with a rustic flair! Two problems to address: Buyer beware, the sink DOES NOT come with a template. In my application, I used an 'in stock' laminate countertop which required cutting a hole for installation. Very, very difficult to draw my own template because I had to stick my arm through the drain hole which had a sharp raggedy edge. I had several cuts and scratches by the time I finished drawing all the way around. It was well worth the effort, though -- the sink dropped right in and fit perfectly. My complaint is for the manufacturer since I've purchased sinks costing far less that included a template. The second issue pertains to this 'bundle' as sold by Home Depot. As pictured, a soap dispenser is included. Problem is, there's no cut-out on the sink for a dispenser. The purchaser has to cut a hole to be able to use it. I passed on that option. Other than these two issues for me, the bundle is fantastic. The copper plated drain plug adds a nice touch. The vinyl clad copper colored sink grating is perfect to protect the sink bottom and the sink care polishing kit provides the proper care for this lovely sink from the very first use. The rustic bronze faucet blends very well with the copper and I love the ease of use with the pull down sprayer. All pieces are of good quality and I would buy it again.

I purchased this sink for my new kitchen and while we have not installed it yet - it is absolutely beautiful and looks very well balanced and no dents. I am IN LOVE! I know that the color will change continuously, but I am going for that rustic look so it will be perfect! Also, copper is great when it comes to being anti-bacterial - so that's an additional bonus for me. It won't crack and it is THICK - so it won't get dents in it. It won't chip either. My brother in law is also building his house across from ours and he purchased a stainless steel kitchen sink. While his is also nice - I'm sooooo tired of that look. I wanted something different. My mom usually has had white porcelain sinks - but they tend to always chip or have weird looking cracklines over time. I once moved into a house with a black porcelain sink and the finish on it was horrible after years of use - it was not shiny at all and there was no restoring it's shininess. I know that it will take a little extra time to care for this sink - but it's worth it! The other really cool thing about this particular sink is that it is HUGE. Again, my mom has always had (and I've always had) double sinks. For my new house I absolutely did NOT want a double sink. I guess in the old days one side would be used for holding soak water and the other side for scrubbing food off of plates - but these aren't the old days anymore. It's more practical for me to have one large sink so I can wash cutting boards, pots and pans without having to fight the small spaces that a double sink offers. I think there's enough room in this sink for a night's cookware with room to spare. The fact that it comes with a bottom grate is awesome! Also, I emailed sinkology as soon as I placed my order and asked that a disposal flange be included instead of the regular sink strainer kit - and they responded right away that it would be done without any problem or increase in cost. I also researched the sprayer/faucet that comes with this and it is top of the line! I love the high arch, the color and that the sprayer is incorporated into the faucet. That was really important to me. Our plan is to put the faucet over the 3 holes and to make a forth hole ourselves for the soap dispenser where we want it. I know sinkology would add another hole if we wanted upon our order and at no additional cost, but we have the ability to do it ourselves without a problem as we are very experienced in doing that. I also plan to extend the soap dispenser line down into a huge vat of hand soap so that I don't have to keep refilling it. Thanks sinkology! Also, I plan on getting a claw tub from sinkology as well in the near future :)
