This Distressed White Storage Chest was a Christmas gift for my daughter, and she loved it! The unit comes completely assembled, inside a large box, which is shipped inside another large box. The wood frame is very sturdy and nicely finished, and the rattan bins give it a nice cottage or crafty look. This is a good unit for storing all manner of odds and ends, though I wouldn't use it for something like silk scarves, as there is some roughness to the rattan bins. It would make a great craft center - tempura paints in one drawer, tape and glue in another, boxes of beads in another... In the bath, you could store extra toilet paper, folded towels, makeup, soaps... In the bedroom, folded clothes, socks, electronic gear...Whatever is cluttering up your space in any room, this is the perfect way to sort and organize it!

Nice piece of furniture overall. My only complaint is that the baskets don’t slide in and out smoothly. You sort of have to jiggle them back in and because of that they “shed” a bit. Little bits of straw fall into the drawer below. I’m ok with it because I’m not storing things in it that I use on a daily basis but it’s something to consider if you plan on high use.
