Won’t last long
I was forced to replace this unit in year 3 due to an “LC error” which I found out is very common (community forums). Very disappointed. I bought a warranty but of course it was just after expiration. Now I’m forced to replace the entire unit. Samsung customer service team did not take my concern that a recall is likely needed very seriously.

Stopped working right after warranty
AVOID Samsung dishwashers at all cost! They have a known (check community forums) issue with leak sensor. Ours stopped working (LC error) in year 3. I bought the warranty from Home Depot, but just like their other services it’s completely useless.
So 3 years later I’m spending $1,000 to get it replaced, installed and haul away but not through Home Depot.

A nice dishwasher, never leaves a spot once it dries out. We have been using it for the past 3 months and we find it as an excellent product.

Rusted Racks
Very disappointed with this washer. The washer itself works fine does a fine job washing dishes however a few weeks after the warranty expired I noticed rust on some of the dividers on both the upper and lower racks. Several of the dividers have broken off. It appears that the coating on the racks has melted and the metal has rusted to the point were sections are breaking off. This washer was purchased in Sept/2021 and warranty expired during Sept/2022. I priced the cost of replacing racks and it comes to over $300. I think that Samsung should start an initiative to correct this issue and assist with the replacement of racks on washers that are out of warranty and less than five years old.

Rust Bucket
I would rate this machine lower, but it does clean my dishes. I do not like that when it beeps at the end of its cycle, that is not actually the end of the cycle as it still goes through the drying and sanitizing processes. I'm also on here after having had one of the tines fall of due to rust. I'd noticed that the tines were rusting quite some time ago and was told that it was discoloration and not rust. And now today, one week after my 12 month warranty is up (of course), the tines are falling off and I'm told I'll need to finance repair or replacement myself as I'm outside of that warranty. The tines did not only starting rusting within the last week that the warranty had expired, it's been happening for a while now. Why would anything within a unit that is constantly wet.. be permitted to rust at all. Pretty disappointed with this model overall, and this was the upgrade I'd purchased for myself from my first Samsung.

Worst dishwasher ever!!
Purchased this dishwasher to match my other appliances. I have always gotten a whirlpool but the stove I got was Samsung! Very disappointed!! The dishes come out dirty! You have to prewash everything because it doesn’t remove food!!! I’m talking I put a bowl in it rinsed off but still had chocolate on it and it came out dirty! It wasn’t a full load either. The first time I used it I put it on express and many dishes dirty so next I did normal thinking that would help but no it didn’t!! Dirty dishes still!! So back to hand washing!! Going to contact Samsung !!

Never buy a dishwasher from a phone company
Whatever genius designed the sub pump on, this thing should have to live with the rest of his life. It does fine on the dishes but it’s been a headache after the first year all went downhill. I had to take the leak sensor out because it kept going off every other load. And then the sub pump is just weak and it won’t drain. Overall, I would never buy a dishwasher from a phone company.

Samsung
The baskets on this model are poorly designed, nothing fits properly. There is a weird angle on the top and bottom racks and it limits the amount of glasses, plates and bowls you can load. I can get about half of the dishes in this model compared to the one it replaced. It takes almost three hours for a "normal' cycle. Fine for one person. At least it's not super loud and looks good on the outside but somebody blew it with the dish rack design on this model.

Less than 2 months old - A total garbage!
Less than 2 months old, and it has started developing rust (see picture). There is soap spots everywhere. The upper tray has derailed right after the wash and it looks like a wheel is missing. The soap still remains in the soap spot right after the wash. I thought Samsung is a good brand, but I am totally disappointed.

Two weeks after installation dishwasher rusting
Two weeks after installing the dishwasher with no issues, I wake up this morning and notice rust is already forming on this "stainless steel" appliance. I have contacted Home Depot and was referred to Samsung and they are trying to tell me that rust is a form of "cosmetic damages" and therefore not covered under warranty. $500 for a rusted piece of garbage and no solution in sight.
