24 in. Top Control Storm Wash Tall Tub Dishwasher in Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel with Auto Release Dry, 48 dBA

I REALLY wanted to give this dishwasher more stars :( I have tried every feature (i.e. storm wash, lower rack, sanitize, heavy, high temp wash, etc.) and it continues to leave a residue on the glasses, coffee cups... basically anything on the middle rack. The residue looks powdery so I switched to liquid detergent but it still leaves a residue. My only other complaint (very minor) is the lower rack is spaced too close together, making it difficult to stack plates. I've included pictures of the inside of cups, if it's visible in the pictures.

This is one of the worst dishwasher I have ever bought purchased it on August 28,2020 and it took a month to receive it and after it’s only been installed a couple of months now the adjustment levers on the top rack have already broke off cheap design and the overall dishwasher is very cheap would not recommend anyone to purchase this dishwasher

This dishwasher matches all of my other Samsung appliances in my kitchen! I am so happy with all of the features on it. It is extra quiet while running and the trays are perfect for all of your cooking utensils, pots, pans and dishes. There's a tray for your cutlery in the top rack. Samsung didn't forget anything on this appliance! My kitchen is complete now! Thank you Samsung, thank you Home Depot for the great sale!

Leaks, and Samsung certified technicians have been to my home 4 times in the last month and can't repair it. Samsung refuses to acknowledge that it's a lemon and refund my money despite every effort to get a return. My floors are now damaged from the leak, and even so I sent pictures of the damage, and the water leaking, Samsung has denied my claims.

We bought this as part of a Samsung package. I have tried running a regular load of dishes on ALL of the different settings and STILL have multiple items come out dirty, like nothing touched them, and yet the item right next to it is spotless. My old Whirlpool was such an amazing dishwasher, this Samsung is crap. I’m going to try maybe a stronger detergent, but I’ve always bought cascade pods with Oxi and in my old dishwasher I never had a problem.

I wanted to love this dishwasher. I moved into my current house 6 years ago and needed a dishwasher that entire time. We bought all new Samsung appliances on a Black Friday sale. I figured anything would be better than my 20 year old dishwasher, Samsung proved me wrong! Whoever designed this dishwasher apparently has never loaded a dishwasher. It is impossible to load efficiently. I thought with all the options to move racks, baskets and prongs that it would be helpful. Everything that can move is worthless. 1st the bottom rack has the typical four rows of prongs.(the back two rows can flip down to fit bigger items, I don’t really understand how this is helpful you can fit your bigger items around the prongs!) The problem is the 2 rows in front go one direction and the 2 rows in back go the opposite direction. This means it is impossible to put something long like a cookie sheet or long platter the same direction as your plates. So you have to put them horizontal which then cuts off your ability to place plates in that entire row. You also can not put a pan or bowl in the bottom rack without putting in face down so it takes up so much room. The middle rack is adjustable up and down which seems helpful until you actually use your dishwasher. I can never have the middle rack in the lower position because the rack hits my plates in the bottom rack which means the spinning washer can not spin. My plates are standard size. So this means the middle rack has to stay in the higher level always. This has caused my colander that is supposed to be on top rack only can not fit because it now hits the top/utensil rack. We are a busy family of 4 and I run my dishwasher at least once a day. With this new dishwasher it’s twice a day. Not efficient to be running twice as often! The dishwasher is loud and cycles are very long. There are two small things I do like. It looks nice and I like the top/utensil is nice. If you plan to use your dishwasher and not just look at it I suggest you not buy this one. I hate that I’ll be stuck with this dishwasher until I move!

(1) Do not BUY Samsung dishwashers with this soft, plastic touch panel. Mine came with small imperfections “chipped.” The plastic is very soft and prone to damage. I would have thought Samsung designed a more durable touch panel, but I fear that this panel will not last and degrade over time. The touch panel should have been designed with mechanical buttons or at least use a more durable plastic panel. This touch panel should not have passed QC. (2) Samsung customer support is a wash. The common sense approach for a touch panel coming cosmetically defective out-of-the-box would be to send repair and replace the part. Because this was installed “sometime” after delivery and it was discovered after installation, they will not help. They would like me to return the whole unit back, which is absurd on time/cost. (3) I will be looking at other companies that make more robust appliances. Samsung looks “fancy” but they are not designed to last.

This dishwasher is a pretty big disappointment. The top rack is horribly designed, to the point where a solid 60-70% of the area cannot get clean on any cycle (see accompanying image). Let's start with the middle of the rack: There is a solid plastic tube that runs up the center of the rack to the middle, piping the water to the rotating sprayer. Sure, the water has to get up there some how. But this means you cannot place any cups or bowls upside down in that area. Water never gets up into them because that pipe blocks it. Then there are ALL of the outer edges (both sides and the front edge): I rinse everything before putting it in the dishwasher so there are no solid food particles. At most there is coffee residue, an occasional ring from a smoothie or maybe some melted ice cream. If anything is placed on one of these outer edges, it does not get clean at all. Not only do dishes on the top rack not get clean, but then the food residue gets baked on. So I must soak the dirty dishes for hours before I clean them by hand. My 15 year old Frigidaire dishwasher, a model that was comparably lower end than this one could handle dishes much dirtier than the ones this one fails to clean. To note: I've tried Cascade, both liquid and pod form, and Finish rinse agent. Again, didn't need those in my old dishwasher, I was able to use more eco-friendly detergents. I've also added additional detergent to the door, as recommended in the manual. I make sure not to overload the dishwasher. And I've been through the useless troubleshooting website that Samsung reps spam on all negative reviews on here. So... I guess I'm stuck with a dishwasher that doesn't wash or shell out another $800 for one that does. Since appliance returns are nearly impossible. So that's fun.

Super happy with this dishwasher. It's insanely quiet, sometimes you can't even tell it's on which is super nice. I've been using the heavy clean setting and it cleans better than just normal. I've been using the 3rd rack at the top a lot more than I thought I would. And I love that it pops open at the end for better drying. I'd try to do that anyway with my old dishwasher to help air dry the rest of the way so the fact that this one does it for me is so awesome. It also looks super nice too, I like having the button hidden at the top for a more sleek look. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
