The water dispenser on the front of the fridge drips and will accumulate water on the tray when not in use. Since the tray is mostly a flat service, the water starts running down the front of the fridge. I have had 3 service tickets from Samsung to repair the fridge. First time the tech replaced the valve for the water line on top of the door which did not work. The second time he replaced the entire water system, which did not work. The third time they noted “no defect found” on the service report said there was nothing more they could do; but the fridge still drips... I am disappointed that the fridge still leaks and Samsung is washing their hands of the situation. I would not recommend this fridge.

I'll start with the nice things - the black stainless color is beautiful and truly fingerprint resistant. Refrigerator is fine, it works. Freezer works. The rub is that the upper freezer drawer shown with the tall divider is not what came with ours. Purchased from Home Depot in Sept., delivered in December. HD customer service has worked tirelessly with Samsung in an effort to correct this with no luck. I have personally spent many hours as well with Samsung Care with no luck. They sent us a drawer that doesn't fit and isn't the drawer pictured twice. After dealing with Samsung Care I am very worried about ever having to deal with them again when something happens to any of our 4 new appliances. I will NEVER purchase this brand of appliances again. Additionally Samsung doesn't include the bin/shelf for the inside of the drawer, found I could buy that separately from parts dealers for $35. Our other refrigerator by LG came with this. There's a reason that Samsung appliances rarely make the Consumer Reports recommended appliances lists. And to top it off it's so wrong that a smaller refrigerator (counter depth) costs soooo much more and it's mediocre.

Solid 4 star product. Not 5. I think it was worth the money we paid (Cyber Monday deal) of $2k. I wouldn't want to pay more than that. A lot of folks reviewed this fridge as rated five stars, so I kind of ignored that the average was four stars. However after using it, I can see why as it's a very good refrigerator, but for the listing price is missing a few things. We have experience with about 6 different refrigerators over the years which helps make comparisons. Pros: The space is absolutely incredible. I'm really glad that we went for a fridge that sticks out just a little bit from the counter for all of the extra room it gives The fingerprint resistant really works Though this may seem small, it's magnetic compared to older stainless steel fridges. The LED lighting is outstanding The paint color around the rest of the fridge is a very nice metallic gray, so it doesn't stand out from the stainless steel on the front as many fridges do. It has a second spot to put an ice bucket or just extra ice in the drawer of the freezer. However, I was a bit confused, as some of the fridges seem like they actually have an ice maker that spits out ice both in the door and down below. this one does not automatically put ice down below, only in the door it gets to any temperature you want it to go to very quickly. I was told to wait 4 hours for everything to get to temperature when it was installed, and I would say that it got there in about an hour and a half from room temperature. The freezer door has a moving handle which is very ergonomic Despite other reviews, I think the build quality is very good, and though the plastic drawers feel fairly light, they seem like they will endure any normal wear and tear over the years. Cons: The doors really do pop open at times if you close it with a little bit of force. The left French door flap from day one gets stuck in middle position if we open that door first and clanks into the right door. We always have to close the left door first and then close the right door. The water filter is very subpar and somehow ends up tasting worse than just straight tap water. I'm sure it's filtering out various things, but the taste is just not great. All in all, great fridge. The cons Definitely make it only 4 stars for us. I wouldn't pay more than 2k, might as well move on up to a higher end fridge at that point.

Looks great and love the fact it does not have fingerprint residue like other stainless steel appliances. Needless to say my kitty likes it too.

This fridge is everything I hoped it would be and more. The size is perfect and I have plenty of room for all of my needs. I love the shelving and the ice maker is my favorite.

don't judge by what looks good in the store. we liked it in the store fine enough, but once we got it home its just one usability disappointment after another. 1. everything about it is very lightweight, plastic and brittle feeling (see point 5 below). I have no confidence that something isnt going to break in the very near future. the doors are very lightweight, when you close one door the other one bounces open and closed. i know this is kind of a non-issue, and has to do with air pressure as much as anything, but i think its speaks very well to the overall cheap build quality of the machine. my parents have a very similar GE refrigerator and it doesnt do this. 2. ice maker is a JOKE! - takes more than 24 hours to generate the first hopper of ice (which you're advised to discard) - once it does finally start making usable ice, you get maybe FIVE 12-oz glasses from it before it runs completely out. we NEVER ran out of ice with our old (and far superior) whirlpool refrigerator. it's hopper was reasonably-sized, clearly visble and had a sensor to make more ice once it got below a certain point. - dispensing is SLOW. It takes +30 seconds to fill a single juice glass with crushed ice. which may not sound like a problem. but when you're standing there. and need to fill more than one, its brutal. - the hopper is opaque. so when it stops producing ice through the door, you just have to assume its empty vs malfunctioning. we've already been to the corner store TWICE for ice in the three days we've owned it... 3. (see photo) there is one one light in the entire refrigerator section, and its at the top. which isnt a problem in the store when its empty. but when you get it home and fill it up, progressively the last shelf and especially ALL the drawers are more or less in the dark. in these days of cheap, low-profile LEDs, this omission is completely inexcusable. who wants a vegetable drawer they cant see inside? 4. non-intuitive controls. i havent spent a lot of time with them, because at this point i really just hate the appliance and dont care. but each feature has a single button. and there arent really easy to discern visual cues about how they work or where you should press. 5. VERY prone to damage. it's like a glass doll! the floor where ours sits isnt level , so i needed to put the rear feet up on about a half inch shim. to do so i had to lift the back from the front. which meant pull the top forward toward me. it was empty, and not overly heavy, but still rather clumsy, as there really arent good grab points... i used my knee as a fulcrum point resting against the front of the freezer drawer. it took me about 5 tries to get it where it needed to be, and shortly later my wife mentioned the 5 small little dimples that were now in the drawer front! and as we replaced the various decorative / document holding magnets on the front of the fridge (which are now ALL removed) we noticed the front has already been noticeably scratched i've never been THIS disappointed in an appliance. highly, HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this fridge is pretty awesome! i love how the shelves flip, move and adjust to make room for large or odd shaped food. the see through drawers make it easier to find things. the freezer is a really nice size. the features that are extra neat are the auto fill pitcher for water that you can put things to infuse the flavor of the water, and the "cool select" pantry is convenient for when you are hosting a party and need to keep appetizers chilled until people arrive. overall, i recommend this fridge, however there are a few things i wish were different; when the ice dumps into the holder it's a bit loud, and secondly i wish there was a measurement feature on the water dispenser. also irritating that i have to open both doors to open the bottom crisper.

We have had this heap for 5 years I think. And EVERY shelf has broke. Some snapped, some tore like aged plastic. Ice machine stopped working last ear. Rest doesnt work. If you get suckered into buying on of these plastic havens of non-quality. Make sure you fork out the money for the extra scam warranty they always offer Because they stand behind their product so wh would you need one right? I am going to buy used so I dont have to donate to this poorly crafted piece of work

We sold our last Samsung refrigerator with our house and didn’t hesitate to buy another for our our new house. We love the counter depth model this time.
