          Ice maker & ice & water dispenser
          I have had this refrigerator for a couple years and the ice maker gets warm due to being in the refrigerator and causes the cubes to become melted together. My other issue is that the formed drip pan under the ice and water dispenser in the door is way to shallow and overflows onto the floor when ice chips fall from the ice maker after filling a glass. I would not spend the money to purchase another one of these refrigerator's certainly not worth the dollars spent! I see no remedies online for the shallow drip pan in the door so I will make my own!

            Very nice fridge!
            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge is very functional and versatile. I like the freezer drawer at the bottom. The only drawback is that the bottom glass shelf in the main compartment cannot be removed to be washed. Right now, I have a nasty mark under the glass from an earlier spillage. I hate that I can't remove that shelf to clean it but have to see it every time I open the fridge. :(
              Great for the first year. Terrible ice maker.
              This was such a cool center piece to my kitchen, for about a year. Then the hub would regularly lose connection to my home network. Then the ice maker started constantly freezing up and jamming / not producing ice. I heard these problems are fairly common for this model, and threy are known fixes, but none of them are covered u der warranty that I know ove nor do they begin happening within the first year, which is all the manufacturer's warranty is good for.

                Do you really use all the bells and whistles?
                We purchased this refrigerator in 2019 and within 6 months had to utilize the warranty to have someone come fix the ice box because it froze. They were able to fix it but left the ice dispenser half attached. We’ve continued to have issues with the ice machine until it finally busted and we had to purchase a new one entirely. We thought we would use all the high tech gadgets but we rarely do and they seem unnecessary when I think about the cost. We could have done without the screen. The sliding drawer in the freezer constantly comes off the tracks if you even if you slightly tug it out and it’s really difficult to get back on the tracks. The bottom drawer in the freezer is deep and nice. The trays in the refrigerator are removable which is handy but it’s difficult to get them out. The doors don’t open super wide and we struggle to get the trays out. I like the multiple level temperature controls for each section.

                  Buyer BEWARE!
                  I generally love Samsung products but not this one. The fridge capacity feels really small. The shelf configuration isn't very flexible. It looks like you could adjust the left and right shelves independently but you can't. There's one shelf that retracts half way. If you want to put a gallon of milk in the fridge you have to retract that shelf and lose the storage above. It's really stupid. 6 months after purchase the ice machine stopped working; it was under warranty so a repair man came out to fix it. It broke again, and again, and again. In fact, it broke 5 times in the 2.5 years that we've had it. However, this last time I noticed a little dripping of water and the ice was coming out slushy. That drip turned into a constant flow of water out of the ice shoot and water spout in the dispenser on the outside of the door and water leaking inside the fridge like crazy. Water collects in the lower shelf of the door and I have to check it regularly to dump it in the sink. I've come home to water all over the floor. I have to keep 8 pieces of folded paper towel in the dispenser area to absorb the water and I have to change it 3 or more times a day. This fridge is not worth the money spent on it! Everytime it broke I had to take a whole day off of work to wait around for a repair man, so I've lost a week of pay! It's a shame too because the computer in the door is very cool. I sure wish other brands had something similar. Now I have to buy a new fridge.

                    Defective product - Paint peels off in few months
                    never ever buy this refrigerator. its a defective product with defective door. paint starts peeling off on in a few months on its own . samsung declines to take care of this problem calling it a cosmetic issue which is considered out of warranty. i shall stay away from their refrigerators for ever. here are pics of two areas where the paint is peeling off from .

                      i absolutely love my fridge! i love being able to play my amazon music playlists while i'm cooking or cleaning the kitchen. i love the cover screen images they had before, the ones now are boring. before they had a summer scene with the ocean with the waves rolling up to the beach, it was so soothing to watch. when it rained it had bright green leaves getting wet with rain drops. now there's this boring blue screen with a few palm leaves at the top moving in the wind. it needs to be interesting again!

                        Cooling Inconsistent and Ice Maker Leaks
                        purchased for samsung appliances in 2020, three out of four do not function properly. ice maker leaks, filter changed and water leaked from the fridge to flooring and subflooring and freezer and fridge temps are not consistent. would not purchase samsung appliances again.

                          Family Hub Frustration
                          i was very excited about getting this refigurator, but only had one month and alot of problems. from day one the screen and refrig would just turn off. the water dispensor leaked endless down the front of the refrigurator. this morning i woke you and seen an error 41 on the screen and the whole refigurator shutdown. lost our food. what a bad design. refigurator control is the most reliable system out there, but samsung intergrated everything into the main control board and if that goes you lose everything. the navigation and control of the refrig is also complicated and limited. bad investment!
