Amazing fridge and plenty of space!

Doesn’t last!
We bought this fridge brand new less than 8 months ago. It has already died and we’re still waiting for a repair. It seems this is a common issue with the fridge and freezer not cooling and the temperature gauge being incorrect. Our freezer still said -2 and all our items were dethawed. We had to throw away everything which is stressful with the cost of groceries now. Worse, my medication that has to be refrigerated and is on back order was in the fridge. Reading these reviews does not give me hope that we will get this repaired or replaced in a timely manner. We have two Samsung tvs, a new washer/driver, and Samsung chromebook. I’m not worried about how well these items will hold up and will be considering other brands from now on. This is a huge safety issue, one Samsung would be liable for, as the temperature in the fridge is unknown and poses a safety risk! We did get sick after eating an item from the freezer. The cooling was slowly going out and started with the ice maker failing to work because the temperature wasn’t cold enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 28 cu ft bottom freezer, French door Samsung refrigerator. Great LED lighting in refrigerator portion and lighting for freezer compartment. (Light for freezer is actually in the bottom edge of the left refrigerator door-very innovative way to do it). Bui lt in large capacity ice maker. Great storage in doors (all door bins are gallon size, not just lowest one). Freezer door also pulls out top freezer bin as it opens-very convenient. Stainless steel front is ferrous so magnets work. Easy open doors, easier than you would expect. Easy, smooth and quiet close, also. Spill proof shelves. Shelving is adjustable and can be divided as half shelves. Control panel is build into right side of interior side of refrigerator and is flush to side wall- no wasted bump out. Separate temp control for refrigerator and freezer. On/off for ice maker. Water filter between vegetable bins. All bins slide smoothly and self close as they near full closure. Humidity control on vegetable bins. Very quiet compressor-barely can hear when running. Surprising how much more space there is in a 28 cu ft vs a 21 cu ft. and just 35 3/4” wide. Highly recommend.
