Purple patches on my screen!
just after the 2 year mark, my samsung tv started producing purple spots/patches throughout the screen. it started with one, then two, now they cover half the screen, when i called samsung customer support they simply said i was out of luck as i had just gone over the 2 year mark, and that there was nothing they could or would do. i did some research and a lot of people have reported the same issue with the same outcome, which i simply find appalling for a brand like samsung. i've had samsung tv's for quite some time, but after this horrible customer service experience, and the poor quality on this set, this will certainly be my last samsung tv.

    Screen had a black line after a week
    Bought this tv a week ago and it has a black line running down the screen. The picture was great when it lasted I can say that much, but I’m beyond p****d it only lasted a week.

      Great till it becomes junk: Curved screen fragile
      Indeed it is great tv and OS is very fast. But curved screen is very fragile. A soft toy touched(or hit in other-words) the screen, thats it. If it is not curved TV, I felt that screen would have survived very easily. Though I have protection plus plan for this TV, samsung is not ready to replace the screen as they claim it is physical damage. However there are no physical crack in the screen but got big think lines. So beware of the curved TV screen quality(in general) before you make purchase. I was ready to purchase screen from my pocket but it is very expensive and almost same price as TV.

        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the TV for gaming and home theater, it’s tough trying to make sure everything is being viewed in 4k but still a really bad bones tv and i really enjoy it.

          Fails with every streaming app
          if you use any streaming all, do not purchase! we have 5 tvs and this is the only one we have issues with. in hulu, live tv randomly rewinds (doesnt do this on any other tv or phone). on youtube tv, everytime an ad comes on, the screen freezes. the only fix is to power cycle during every commercial! (there are 5 commercials every break and you have to power cycle at every one...again doesnt happen on any other tv). of course we are out of warranty and any potential repair is nearly as much as a new tv. we have these issues whether we use a firestick or not.

                Was great while it worked...all 16 months!
                I purchased this TV 16 months ago...I really liked it, but it stopped working out of nowhere. I'm hoping for some support and answers from Samsung.

                    Worst TV
                    I bought the tv a year ago and it has been the worst descion ever. The tv always disconnects from the WiFi even thought the WiFi works on my phone and my other devices.
