It is always recommended to do a compatibility and adhesion test to ensure you are obtaining the results you are seeking. This product however, is not a structural adhesive.
My experience was that the tube of adhesive was fine several months after rotation date. I returned the tubes I purchased that were a year past because they were hard and would not squeeze from the cartridge.
