Product Overview

  • Reinforces 90-degree connections is stronger than nails or screws
  • Removes the guesswork for making perfectly square connections
  • Perfect for new projects or repairs
Not only do angles make joints stronger, they also provide more consistent, straight corners. Simpson Strong-Tie offers a wide variety of angles in various sizes and thicknesses to handle light-duty jobs or projects where a structural connection is needed. Some can be bent (skewed) to match the project. For outdoor projects or those where moisture is present, use our ZMAX zinc-coated connectors, which provide extra resistance against corrosion (look for a "Z" at the end of the model number).
  • Versatile connector for various 90° connections and home repair projects
  • Stronger than angled nailing or screw fastening alone
  • Help ensure joints are consistently straight and strong
  • Made from 18-Gauge steel
  • Galvanized (G90) for extra corrosion resistance
  • Install with 10d x 1-1/2 in. nails or #9 x 1-1/2 in. Strong-Drive SD screws

Questions & Answers

What type of screw should I use with this bracket

Asked by: Phillyjayp
I just used dry wall screws in mine. I used these angles to give added support for my deck corners. I used 3inch screws to screw in the joints and then these to help keep a stable corner.

Weight Support?

About how much weight can these support? I'm building some overhead storage in the garage and want to use these in the inside corners of 2x4 framing. Will this help hold a lot of weight?
Asked by: dj
I am not sure how much weight they support but I used them to build a deck to hold my freestanding storage building. I haven't had a problem and there is alot of weight on the deck.

Can these galvanized ties be spray painted?

Can these galvanized ties be spray painted?
Asked by: Bob
Yes, I use these for many furniture and shelving projects. Painting them will not violate any structural codes either where they are required.

how do I install a dishwasher

Asked by: scooter
There are many good videos on the internet for dishwasher installation. These brackets might help stabilize a dishwasher once installed although they make special dishwasher brackets for that purpose. I hope this helps!
