Product Details

Not only do angles make joints stronger, they also provide more consistent, straight corners. Simpson Strong-Tie offers a wide variety of angles in various sizes and thicknesses to handle light-duty jobs or projects where a structural connection is needed. Some can be bent (skewed) to match the project. For outdoor projects or those where moisture is present, use our ZMAX zinc-coated connectors, which provide extra resistance against corrosion (look for a "Z" at the end of the model number).

    A:  Hi Celia, this is McKenzie with Simpson Strong-Tie. We do not offer load capacities on the A66. The load can be calculated by the Engineer of Record based on the gauge of steel and the fasteners used along with the material the part is being installed to.       A:  Hello, my name is Ricardo from Simpson Strong-Tie. The A88 can be made with a hot-dip galvanized (HDG) finish. This offers the same level or corrosion resistance as a Zmax finish. To get the HDG finish, please order an A88X and specify HDG.

          Does what it is supposed to do very nicely.
          Ok it is an angle bracket made to secure wooden structures. I used these brackets securing full 4x4's for a 3 board fence to my concrete driveway curbing retaining wall. Value is great works perfect.

          First project we added a wall to my carport and we used these to attach the 2x4s to the beams then used screws to attach the plywood to the 2x4s. It worked great. Second project was to add a second storage area to the existing shed, that also has worked out well. Our next project is to attach a lean two, to the back of the shed, just for outdoor stuff.
