Simpson Strong-Tie straps and plates join and reinforce joints with simple, versatile solutions for a wide range of connections. Available in many lengths, widths and thicknesses, straps can be used on the wide or narrow face of lumber for light repairs or heavy-duty projects. Q:Can this be use to strap rafter to beam to rafter connection?

A:  The allowable loads for our straight strap products are based on the straps being installed flat. Alternate installations must be detailed by and would be the responsibility of the Designer/Engineer of Record. Thank you!

      A:  We do not have connectors recommended for construction of garden beds as direct contact to soil and moisture would be a concern (corrosion). The Prop 65 warning does apply to this connectors as well. As far as that concern, please see the L-PROP65_15 letter on our website. Thank you!
