A:  Thank you for your question. The laser would be more difficult to see in bright sunlight conditions however the use of laser glasses would help enhance the laser line.

        A:  Thank you for your question. The laser is set at the factory and should not need adjustment. However, if there is an issue during shipping that causes the laser to not be aligned there is a way to adjust it.           Pool deck
          I bought the saw to aid in the building of a pool deck, more specifically to cut stair stringers. I was attracted to this saw of the laser light, which in bright outdoors condition was not very visible. The saw cut well and had plenty of power. The safety switch release button seemed a little awkward for me especially when cutting 4x4 post off. All in all very good for price

          Great 7 1/4 inch Circular Saw
          This circular saw by Skil is great. It has a ton of power and it has a lazer-guided beam to track where you're cutting wood. I really like how it comes with a bag too and a saw blade. It's definitely one of my favorite tools because of how high-quality it feels and how well it cuts through wood. For a person like myself with a few DIY projects this was a great pickup. I'm really glad I bought this Skil circular saw and it has been more than worth it to me doing shelving around the garage and house.

          be gentle with it brakes easley.
          I would not buy this saw again. The lever that lockes the base plate broke after the 3rd use. Looking @ the parts list the part that is needed to fix it is not listed.

            Love it.. powerful and straight. Laser is good too
            I've used this several times on some laminate flooring as well as mouldings on my house and a condo I own. IT does the job for me - very pleased with it. I installed a diablo 60th blade on it for a smoother cut and it's working very nicely.

            Good saw....while it lasted. Motor burnt up within the first few weeks of using it. Was cutting up some 2Xs from an old shed and the saw didn't make it very far. Get what you pay for I guess.
