It works for me.
Yes it works great I used it in my travel trailer that was in northern Wisconsin to protect water line’s and hot water tank. Never had any problems
It will work.
Does not show as containing alcohol.
Make sure do this with the engine running. Otherwise the muffler may back up into the exhaust manifold.
The SouthWin RV Antifreeze -50 , Model# 147005, is intended for potable water systems and not combustion engines. The product is formulated to protect to -50 by preventing long ice crystals from forming, thereby reducing the swelling of the frozen product. It is not designed to remain liquid at sub zero temperatures, but rather to not expand as it freezes. There is still some expansion as the smaller ice crystals form, but it is maintained at a minimum. The product is a mixture of several ingredients and consequently cannot be measured accurately with a refractometer like you would an engine antifreeze.
It should be OK , I use some in the pipes in my hot tub, when I winterize it And have been using the same gallon for several years now,
This is meant to stop water lines from freezing. It isn't meant for painting on wood.
Very close to water which is 128 ounces or 8 pounds per gallon.
it is used in RV water lines. Although I wouldn't drink it, it is safe. I do flush my lines before use.
