The SouthWin RV Antifreeze -50 , Model# 147005, is intended for potable water systems and not combustion engines. The product is formulated to protect to -50 by preventing long ice crystals from forming, thereby reducing the swelling of the frozen product. It is not designed to remain liquid at sub zero temperatures, but rather to not expand as it freezes. There is still some expansion as the smaller ice crystals form, but it is maintained at a minimum. The product is a mixture of several ingredients and consequently cannot be measured accurately with a refractometer like you would an engine antifreeze.

No good to Zero
I bought this and used it in my RV for winterizing. It claims to protect to -50 degrees. This is not accurate. At Zero Degrees Fahrenheit this "Antifreeze" FROZE. I have broken tubes and fluid all over the ground. I used it straight from the bottle and did not mix any water or other fluids into it. Additionally I had some left over in the original gallon container and it froze solid. This stuff is garbage and will end up costing you more money in the long term. Spend the extra money and get something that actually works.
