    Sturdy Cord – Outstanding Color
I chose this because it adds to my selection of cable colors. When I run several extensions and need to differentiate between them, I run different colors. Commonly you can get yellow, orange and black. If I run more than three lines, I need up with one circuit with a duplicate color. I haven’t had the opportunity to see how this works at low temperature, but it’s adequately flexible. Lighted output end helps you locate it in low light and lets you know you have power.

    Great Light Duty Extension Cord
Southwire 100 ft. 16/3 SJTW Cold Weather Outdoor Light-Duty Extension Cord, Blue. This cord has good flexibility and weight it lays out easily and flat when unrolled, the bright blue color and heavy male and female lite ends make it highly visible and seem like it will last me long time. This will make a great extension cord for what i will use it for.

Southwire 100 ft. Cold Weather Outdoor Light-Duty Extension Cord
I received the Southwire 100 ft. 16/3 SJTW Cold Weather Outdoor Light-Duty Extension Cord, Blue last week and put it work right away. I used it with my electric blower to blow debris off on my carport and patio. I also used it to extend 100 feet to my small lot next door to cut firewood. I like that it came with a light indicator to let me know if the power is on or off. I'm sure I will get to use this extension for many more projects around our place. I'm really pleased with this product.

Solid Outdoor Cord For Simple Household Tasks!
I needed a durable long extension cord for when I want to run power tools in my shed that’s roughly 50 feet from my house. This 100’ power cord was more than enough to run my power tools without the need to carry them to my garage for use. It has an easy light indicator to let you know if it has power or not. Plus the instructions clearly states that “if” this indicator light should stop working in the future the extension cord will continue to work as designed. So I honestly hope the internal light last forever, but only time will tell. I do wish it would of came with some sort of cord reel, but most extension cords nowadays don’t so no biggie. Overall, pretty solid extension cord for the common home DIYer like myself!

    Nice long lightweight extension cord
We have a large yard and need a long extension cord. Living in Wisconsin, cold weather is an issue with hardware. We have an electric snow blower that needs to be plugged in, and a sidewalk that extends around the other side of the house from the outlet. This particular code is purportedly flexible down to -58F, which is more than adequate for our winters as it seldom gets below -20F here. The cord has a light-up end, so you know if your power is on if you happen to have a switched outlet like we do. It is a lightweight cord, so I would not use it for heavy equipment, but for small electronic items, this is a great little cord.

    Very good cord.
For a light duty cord I like it. I have a several bushes in my yard to trim plus a hedge roll this cord is really nice for the job. the bright blue cord relly stands out when you are using it around the bushes and hedge. The temp rating for the cord is minus 58 to 145 degrees. They say super flexibility down to minus 45 degrees I haven't try it out in cold weather yet. For hedge clippers and skill saw use it has really been a good one so far. I really like the plugs on the cord they feel like a very good quality and I love the indicator light.

    Great Flexible Extension Cord
This 100 foot 16/3 SJTW Outdoor extension cord has a high-quality feel and is extremely flexible. Right out of the packaging, I was able to unroll the extension cord and easily re-roll it by hand. Both the male and female ends have good strain reliefs and the plugs have a solid feel. An awesome feature is the female end that illuminates when the cord is "live" and has power being supplied. Given that this cord is only 16-gauge and how flexible it feels, I fully believe that it will be flexible and easy to wrangle in the cold weather. With standard care, I expect this extension cord to provide many years of use.

    Good quality
Southwire 100 ft. 16/3 SJTW Cold Weather Outdoor Light-Duty Extension Cord, Blue. I do a large Christmas light show every year, so I am always looking for extension cords. This is a light duty 16 gage cord rated 10 amps at 125 volts A/C. The 100 foot length is great for a large yard to breakout to multiple items or smaller gage cords. The receptacle is polarized so it can be used with a grounded or ungrounded cord or device. The blue cord will show up well to help eliminate the chance of cutting the cord while working around it. The plug ends are clear molded rubber making it easy to see the wire connections inside. The female end has an embedded light t indicate when there is power to the cord. Even though it is listed as light duty the cord insulation is durable, flexible and made for cold temperatures up to minus 58 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no warranty information, and it is expected to have a normal life span of 15 years. There is very little information on the packaging.

Great Length and made for cold weather
Useful and practical 100ft extension cord made specifically for extreme cold weather. It is a light duty cord at 16/3 SJTW(service/junior/thermo vinyl/weather) and has a bight blue outer cover for easy find on any surface. It also has an amber light in the plug into end so you know it has power. It is flexible to @ -58*F but if you are working in that type of cold better bundle up. I like the longer length especially if it’s rainy or snowy and you don’t want the connections to get wet. The bright blue makes it easy to locate on the ground or in storage.

    Easy to work with
I already have a 50' version of this and love it. The 100' is no different, the cord is softer than your regular extension cord and stands up to the cold quite well. It stays soft and easy to work with despite the temperature. The female end has a light on the end so you know if it's live or not. And the ends are clear which means when I eventually have to replace the ends, i know exaclty which color wire to put where on the new ends.
