The reel of wire had been hit with the forks...
The reel of wire had been hit with the forks on the fork lift at some point. When the wire was damaged at 20’, 75’, 100’, and 150’ in the reel. I did not time to the return the reel and try again due to an open ditch and weather. I had to splice the wire in 2 of the 4 locations and repair the insulation in the other 2. I am not happy with this but my back was against the wall and I had to go with.

Good feeder wire I bought 150' of this wire and...
Good feeder wire I bought 150' of this wire and bought 150' of #2AWG wire to go with it. After wrapping the #2 wire around the other 3 wires it was 4' shorter. Remember to order extra when ordering a straight wire to wrap around other wires. Also I had to feed 2" PVC conduit over the wire one piece at a time. If you have elbows you will never be able to pull the 4/0 4/0 2/0 #2 wires through them. NEVER... We had a 45 elbow and was very hard to feed on the wire. Long radius elbows were easier. with ditch caving in we dug 12 feet and put 10' in ditch and dug another 10 feet and so on. good luck..
