Speakman Neo Kitchen Faucet
I ordered the Speakman SBS-1042-SS Neo single handle touchless pull down sprayer kitchen faucet in Silver Stainless Steel. It looks great in our kitchen. The sensor turns off the water after two minutes. It uses single hole installation and a cover plate is not included. Installation is easy with the easy mount nut. The handle to turn the faucet ON can be used if not using the sensor and which lets you adjust the water temperature. The pull out wand has two spray options regular and spray. It looks really nice and we're happy with the faucet.

Easy kitchen upgrade
The Speakman Touchless faucet uses an optical sensor (that little hole on the left in the product photo) to turn the water on and off. This requires you to always leave the faucet handle in the "ON" positiion and wave your hand in front of the sensor and that, for me at least, will take some getting used to. However, when I do leave it on, the sensor works perfectly every time. .
Fit and finish on the faucet is excellent. It looks great, the handle (which I am trying to remember not to use) operates smoothly, and the two spray patterns are easily selectable. Installation is a bit more complicated than a typical faucet. The control box is mounted on the wall, and you'll want to make sure you can reach the "manual override" - which is a really nice feature although I would have preferred it to be accessible from the front. The battery compartment is easily accessible, and batteries are included. After you connect water lines and wires, the control box (see photo) hangs on a wall mounted bracket.
Installation and operation instructions are well written and illustrated so there is no confusion about what goes where or how it works.

Premium Touchless Faucet
We have always wanted to try a touchless faucet in the kitchen. When your hands are full or dirty it is difficult to turn the faucet on. Sometimes you want to wipe your hands before you even touch the faucet. Well, that all changes with the Speakman Neo Touchless Kitchen Faucet. The build quality is excellent and has a premium finish. It is shipped in a well padded box and the contents are protected. The instructions were spot on and very detailed so if you have installed a faucet before the addition of a solenoid will be easy to do. The Easy Mount Nut makes it more simple to mount the faucet when reaching behind the sink. Everything is included and YES even the batteries for the solenoid. Highly recommended faucet. Made in China with a Limited Lifetime Warranty

Touchless Faucet Upgrade
This Speakman touchless faucet is a great idea for stopping germ transference. The Neo has a convenient one handle all in one faucet with built in two function sprayer. It is stainless steel and a match for other kitchen finishes and hardware.
Installation was straightforward with easy mount nut. The only difference was the addition of the touchless system. I wondered about that as it was the first touchless system for me. It is powered by a solenoid sensor that uses six included AA batteries. The solenoid is mounted under the sink and is connected to faucet. There is also a manual handle. The extra holes cover plate does not come with this faucet however.

Bad product design
I was VERY unhappy to learn that you can only use the motion sensor OR the handle, not both. I did not know realize this was an either or product until my husband installed it and it was too late to return. Other faucets allow you to use both the handle and the sensor without flipping a switch under the sink. Terrible design.

Fantastic faucet and easy to install
I was a little daunted when I opened the box as there seemed to be a lot more parts to this faucet than I anticipated. However, I need not have worried as the instruction that came in the box were very informative and easy to follow. I am not a plumber by any stretch of the imagination, but even I managed to install this faucet within 45 minutes the first time and without any mistakes. It works perfectly and exceeds our expectations.
