This is a supplemental heat source made to assist in heating an area up to blah blah square feet, if being utilized properly this is an effective supplemental heat source to enhance the heat in the home.
No, we do not recommend the unit to be installed outside in a screened porch. This is only meant to be used as a supplemental heat source which means it should be used indoors operating with a main heating source.
Width is 39 inches, height is 32 and a half inches, not sure of the depth as we have had it for a few years now and it is inclosed, definitely very happy with it and have received many compliments
I did: I am not an electrician, plumber, or contractor.

Replacing parts of this unit would most likely require removing the unit from the fireplace.
SpectraFire is a brand under "Bello" prefabricated fireplace units. I contacted Bello prior to purchasing this unit and found the person I talked with to be extremely knowledgeable of the unit. I asked that very question and found that they now use a different blower fan than used on the earlier models as they were experiencing many issues with the fan motor. I had a couple other questions regarding the unit and he was able to rapidly and accurately answer my questions / concerns.
The glass doors & mesh screen are built into this unit. They both can be removed from the unit. I would suggest considering the same unit without the screen & glass (to save a few bucks) if you are sure your screen & glass will cover this large of a fireplace face (height & width) If your screen & glass doors are the type that simply sit in front of the fireplace (not attached) and cover the entire face without blocking the upper intake & output grill (top 3" - full width) your items may work out. I would recommend just purchasing the unit with the screen & glass doors as they all fit flush & proper.
