I planted the root immediately upon its arrival but it is not surviving. This is the second of these peony’s that I have received through Home Depot that did not survive. This first was a gift for Mother’s Day and it died so I decided to order another one to replace it. I’m very disappointed.

The barefoot peony was planted one and one half weeks ago. There is no evidence of any growth whatsoever. I am very disappointed in this purchase. Would it be possible to send me one that has already been established in a one gallon pot?

Response from Gardens Alive FarmMay 1, 2019
Bareroots can take 6-8 weeks to begin to show growth as they are focusing on establishing a good root system. A little patience and it should begin to grow. Remember, you may reach out directly to Home Depot's Customer Care Team for all types of assistance with your order. Just follow the links provided under Contact Us at HomeDepot.com.
