I planted the root immediately upon its arrival but it...
I planted the root immediately upon its arrival but it is not surviving. This is the second of these peony’s that I have received through Home Depot that did not survive. This first was a gift for Mother’s Day and it died so I decided to order another one to replace it. I’m very disappointed.

I am so excited to see it bloom I watch it every day it picked through the ground and Iam so happy I know it will be a year or two before I get flowers but it will be worth the wait .Dolores. Ms.

It takes 3 years to establish a healthy peony. did you make sure you planted it with some of the rhizome ABOVE the ground?

The barefoot peony was planted one and one half weeks ago. There is no evidence of any growth whatsoever. I am very disappointed in this purchase. Would it be possible to send me one that has already been established in a one gallon pot?

Bareroots can take 6-8 weeks to begin to show growth as they are focusing on establishing a good root system. A little patience and it should begin to grow.
