    Great Design
The Adirondack chair is made with heavy duty plastic and has a 375-pound weight capacity, so it is very sturdy. It has storage under the seat for pillows and is ergonomically designed. It is a perfect addition to our front porch. Assembly was fairly easy. It comes with plastic fasteners and a tool to tighten them. The hardest part was installing the self-tapping screws at the bottom of the storage container. That took a screwdriver and a little bit of force. I am happy with this chair and will buy another.

    Assembly required
When this product arrived, I was surprised by how much assembly was required. The instructions call for tools that are not included, and it suggests wearing safety eye protection. I think the reason that eye protection is suggested is that you have to screw parts together where there is no premade hole, which I’ve never seen for furniture like this. You have to push pretty hard to screw through the plastic. I didn’t use a power tool. I just used a regular screwdriver. So that was more physically demanding than I expected. I got the hang of it after the first few screws. Some of the other types of holes were premade, and most of those areas were easy to connect, but a few did not easily line up, so again it took a little strength to assemble. The instructions weren’t all totally clear, but at least the parts were clearly labeled with letters to match the instructions, and I was able to get everything assembled. I like the storage in the chair, and it’s easy to pull the seat up to access the storage. I might use the chair to store an extra hose. The chair is fairly comfortable. It looks decent. The logo in the back was hard to snap on so it looks like it’s not quite on right if you look up close. But no one is going to inspect the back of our lawn chairs. The assembled chair feels sturdy, and I hope it will hold up well outside. My mind is in between 3 and 4 stars for this chair. The assembly was a little tricky, and I think it could have been designed for easier assembly, but I’m rounding up to 4 because it does look decent and I appreciate the functional storage, and it’s comfortable enough to relax outside. I was annoyed while I was assembling it, but now that it’s complete, it’s a decent chair.

    Comfortable chair
The Suncast Peppercorn Adirondack chair is great addition to my outdoor seating. It's comfortable to sit in, easy to clean, and even stores stuff. The screws that come with it has a notch built in to help them stop from rotating out. I thought that was an inventive feature. The afternoon after I put it together it rained. I was concerned the container would fill with water, but it didn't, it stayed nice and dry. The air filled light weight plastic reminds me of when my kids had the outside toddler play equipment. It's not solid plastic but still sturdy. Looking forward to enjoying this for years to come.

    Great outdoor chair
I love this chair. It was very easy to put together I did it by myself. The metal screws did not have predrilled holes & I felt the screw was very close to the edge. The storage area under the seat it a nice size, you could fit a seat cushion. It is very sturdy & comfortable. The gray is a light gray but it does get hot in the sun so you need to be careful especially if you don't have a cushion.

The right chair for my favorite spot
Today the Home Depot web-site has 685 listings under “Plastic Adirondack Chairs”. I haven’t looked at them all, but I am glad that I chose this Suncast chair. It is very comfortable and strong, which were my main considerations. I also really like the Peppercorn Color (even though it might get warm in the sun). I considered a chair using a solid synthetic wood, but those are twice as heavy as this chair. Even the folding versions are heavy. Weight was important to me because I knew I would carry this chair about 300 yards uphill to a viewpoint on our property. I didn’t want something that looked like a cheap stackable chair, but I did need something I could carry up the hill by myself (once). This chair looks great -- big, bulky, and solid; it weighs about 20-25 pounds and can support 375 pounds. Also, day-to-day I will move it to follow the shade. I am 64” tall and no longer young, but it wasn’t hard to carry the chair up the hill. I found that by carrying it from the front, I could rest the front of the chair at my hip line. The lid opened and closed slightly with each step, but it was comfortable to carry this way (with my arms extended). The plastic used in this chair is not as rigid and hard as wood. It is quite comfortable to sit on. I had planned to purchase a cushion to store under the seat, and I still might, but the chair is quite comfortable without a cushion. The chair was easy to assemble. The Suncast Assembly video (https://youtu.be/gKSWrO0Tf_E ) is accurate EXCEPT for step 6 where the instructions I received with my chair add 4 Truss Head Screws to the shelf under the chair. The Suncast Easy Bolts go in very easily using the Hex tool provided, but I struggled a little getting the Truss Head Screws started in step 6. The chair is designed well for assembly and there are divots and holes for these screws to go into, but I think this step was an afterthought. All the other steps are extremely easy to complete. I was glad to use up the last of the Truss Head Screws in step 7 in a much easier location. The rest of the chair uses Suncast Easy Bolts which are definitely very easy to use. Suncast provided an extra cap screw and 2 extra Suncast Easy Bolts, but I didn’t lose any fasteners during assembly. Actually, the Suncast Easy Bolts are so large that it would be hard to lose one. Most of the parts have their letter molded in a large, easy to read font i an area that won’t be visible after assembly. Therefore, I didn’t waste any time removing sticky labels. Also, I appreciate that there is very little packing material: Just the cardboard carton, one cardboard inner box and 3 plastic bags that held the fasteners and the stiffening rail. Scan the Brilliant by Design QR code to learn more about the Suncast Corporations drive toward sustainability (or use this URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJdacV3LUJQ). Oh, and this chair was manufactured in the USA and, like all Suncast blow molded furniture, has a 5yr limited warranty. I have used blow-molded outdoor accessories and, as long as they are manufactured with UV tolerant plastic, they stay looking new for years (after you take a minute to wipe off the accumulated dust & grime). Key Dimensions: Overall Width is 28-½” ; Overall Depth is 29-½” (at base); Seat Back is 30”H; Seat Width is 21”; Seat Depth is 20”; Arm Height from seat is 12-½”

    This is a must have.
When we saw this Adirondack chair from Suncast, we knew we had to get it. This chair can be a challenge to assemble if you don't read the instructions. I used a 4'x4' table to build mine because it was better than the floor. The chair is massive and will hold up to 375 lbs. I am over 6' and 275 and have plenty of room. It has a woodgrain finish (see pic) cleans up with soap and water and has a Lifetime warranty. It comes with large plastic fasteners and the tool to install them. (The seat hinge needs metal screws and might be hard to start for a smaller person). My wife already uses a cushion for a seat and stores it in the area under the seat to keep it dry! Other than that, it is beautiful. Now we have to get another for the His & Hers thing. Take time to read all about this chair and then get one...or two. Home Depot has another winner.

    Comfortable and sturdy
This Adirondack Chair came unassembled. It was mostly easy to assemble using the enclosed plastic bolts and tool. The only glitch was with the bottom storage shelf. The holes there did not completely line up, and that was the only piece that required screws instead of the bolts. I was able to work it a bit, but I was glad that this piece was not a weight-bearing part. That said, the assembled chair looks and feels wonderful.

    Suncast White Plastic Adirondack Chair
The Suncast White Plastic Adirondack Chair Model # BMAC1000WD is a new product from Suncast. It’s a very attractive, well made comfortable chair that blends in nicely with any outdoor patio cooking area. This chair is made with durable multi-wall construction and displays a Modern wood grain texture that’s easy to clean with a mild soap and water solution. Assembly is very easy but suggests you read the assembly instructions prior to getting started. We really like how sturdy this chair is and the built-in storage bin below the seat is a nice feature. Suncast supports their product with a Limited Manufacturer warranty.

    Easy assembly, great features, comfy!
First off, this is a very comfortable chair. The size of the chair is large enough so an extra large guy like me can fit in it comfortably, as can my petite sized wife. Assembly was reminiscent of putting together the plastic toys for my kids 30 years ago… with one notable exception. Suncast uses a unique hard plastic screw assembly that is driven by a hex tool that they supply. As you tighten them up they have little notches and you will hear a clicking sound as it locks into place to keep it nice and tight. Very ingenious assembly system. Assembly took less than a half an hour and I really took my time. It is fantastic that it has a compartment under the seat. You can store a cover for the chair or hide A number of bags of your favorite chips. Very well-built and should last a long time. I am very pleased with this item. Check out the photos…

Smart engineering and clear instructions make this easy to assemble.
Clever engineering and clear instructions make this a breeze to assemble. Unpacking, reading instructions and putting it all together only took about thirty minutes. They use LARGE ABS plastic screws called "EZ screws." Aptly named! They are truly EASY to screw and the included ergonomic hex wrench helps. These instructions are written in clear English. ( Thank you SUNCAST! ) I guess that makes sense since these are MADE in the USA! Another feature that makes these instruction superior to most is, the LARGE PRINT. My old eyes can read them without glasses. Also notable is how the instruction show the molded part letters and correct orientation for each part and each step. The part numbers are VERY BIG and molded into the plastic so you can't possibly mistake one part for another. Since I have assembled dozens of flat pack furniture items, I can say with confidence this is one of the easiest things I've ever built. My wife and I were delighted to learn that the seat lifts up to reveal a storage compartment! That means we can add a cushion and quickly toss it inside so it stays dry when rain comes. The chair is very comfortable as is. The wide flat arms will easily hold a beverage, a book and a phone. Overall, I'd say this is a brilliantly engineered chair that is both comfortable yet very sturdy. Highly recommended.
