Hi cpih, you definitely can use the quarter sawn white oak fort this application. We would just recommend that it be properly sealed.
Yes they use white oak to make whiskey barrels
Hi Mary, Yes this is FAS grade or select and better. FAS is 88 pct. clear with some small pin knots. Most online orders ship next day and this amount of wood would go LTL on a pallet and covered in cardboard and shrink wrap. Please email me at ryan@swanerhardwood.com and I can give you a better idea on lead time.
No it was 1" x 5.5" x 6 ft
The actual size is 0.75 in. x 5.5 in. x 6 ft. We also carry this in 8 foot however if you want 2x6x8 we carry in red oak. Thanks for the inquiry.
Hi Troubleshooter, Yes this is S4S. Thanks for the inquiry.
Kitty must be joking. That would cost you almost $20,000 to do your project.
Hi Kitty, Thanks for the inquiry each pack contains 5 pieces so you would need roughly 200 packs to cover 900 sq feet. You can stain it any color you’d like. Please feel free to reach out to me at ryan@swanerhardwood.com for more questions that I can help you with.
