Q:Is it possible to also store cans and bottles of iced teas, sodas, etc.?
    by|Dec 8, 2021
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  The Titan Transcend TT-W2454SZ is a wine cooler that comes with 6 roller glide stainless steel trimmed wire shelves that are designed and optimized to hold wine bottles from 3 to 3-3/8”. The first wine shelf will even fit 3-1/2” bottles perfectly. It is possible to store other type of beverages depending on how their specific sizes fit according to the sizes mentioned above. If you are primarily a wine drinker but occasionally would like to store other beverages we think this cooler would be great, but for a more even distribution of wine and beverages we would suggest looking into our 24” combo beverage/wine coolers.

            Good looking and well built
My first wine cooler. Remodel starts next week. going into the new bar. Would be five stars but when it is sitting in the open I can hear the fan humming lightly from over 20 feet away. Luckily at 54 degrees the compressor turns on infrequently. I am hoping once into the cabinet it will be much quieter. Tip on installing the door handle. Pull the rubber seal from the corners. only need a few inches to get to the screw. easier to push it back into place. that's the only assembly. Instructions do say to let sit for 24 hours so compressor oil settles before turning one. The different colored lights are interesting. I wish there was an external switch to see inside without opening door but not a big deal. wine will not warm up in the few seconds while looking for the bottle. I put a water bottle in the cooler set to 54 degrees. Came out at 56 degrees. close enough for me. Did not try to get super cold as I am not using for anything besides reds and pre-chill for whites and beer if there is room.

            It's a Cool cooler
24 inch wide built-in or freestanding cooler has a small footprint and can be installed with zero sides clearance in a cabinet. Freestanding should have 2 ½ inch side clearance and 1 ½ inch top. The single zone temperature cooler can adjust from 38-72 F. One temperature for the whole cooler. The stainless door has a dual pane tempered glass view. The cooler has a high temp and open-door alarm. The Zero hinge door can fit to open 90 degrees to open the smooth sliding shelves. The slide drawers can pull out to 90% with rollers and Stainless-Steel wire trim that is anodized black.. The temp is adjusted with touch control. There is a carbon filter and the lighting can be changed to white, blue or amber. Clear door glass is UV safe and keeps the temperature stable. One shelf will take larger bottles and the cooler can fit other bottle drinks (water/soda/beer) and cans.

Good Starter Fridge For Wine Collectors
This is a good way to properly store wine bottles and keep them palatable for a long time. The cooler will arrive by freight and is securely packaged. Mine came double wrapped in cardboard and styrofoam. The set-up and installation took all of ten minutes. I think I spent more time breaking down the box, than I did sliding it into place in the garage and plugging it in! I like to keep my wine between 50-55 degrees and set the monitor to that once it was turned on (it goes from 40-65). I waited for it to come to temperature and quickly loaded the wine for storage. I loaded the bottles by alternating necks to bottoms with the necks in the middle. While it says it can accommodate champagne bottles, I found it to be a little on the tight side, but it does fit! Be sure to watch your label placement when sliding racks going in and out. The racks are easy to manipulate, but with the snugness of the bottles, you do run the risk of label scratches. I was able to fit 50 bottles ranging from the traditional bottle size to some longer ones (on the bottom most shelf) to some of the chubbier ones. I also got three extra mini .375's to fit in there too! For appearances sake, it is a very modern, no frills cooler, which I like. I think it would blend in to any decor. It is 34 inches tall and 24x24 inches around. One thing that stands out to me, is the way the temperature gauge is made (which can be taken two ways). It is inside the unit. For some, this is great because you don't have a glowing digital light in the room at night that can be annoying. But for others, like me, I like seeing that it is on and at the right temperature -- but you have to open the door to see the temperature. Additionally, my cooler is at capacity, so the lighting is for aesthetics only. It does not serve a purpose unless you are looking at the upper most two shelves. The cord length is just shy of six feet. I can move it around the garage pretty good. I keep mine near a vent and live in a coastal climate, so it does not get too hot and has ample ventilation. I really only suspect it to be on full blast for about a 6-8 week period during August-October when it can be warm. The directions were easy to read too. This unit really is plug and play ready. But there is one thing I thankfully read -- it makes noise. It was not a defective fridge. It says the wine cooler will make noise and that it is normal during the cooling down time that this takes place. It ranges from gurgling, rattling, squealing, splashing and fan noise. Thankfully, this only happens from time to time, since it is energy efficient (although I am writing this during the winter months). I say that because when it does turn on and makes noise, while not super loud, it is loud enough to become annoying. I am happy this is in my garage and I don't hear it unless I am in the room. But keep that in mind when finding the most suitable place to use it. I am a novice to moderate wine collector. And this fridge works for me - drinking the traditional bottle size with an occasional champagne bottle mixed in. I do own some other bottles, and if you find yourself exclusively collecting certain varieties of wine with stout or long-neck bottles, you may not be able to get in the full 50 bottles in the fridge. Granted, this is a one size fits all fridge. But it should say fits "up to" 50 bottles, because you may find yourself in a position of fitting less in there, despite what the directions say it can hold. While I do enjoy the lock that goes on the door, the door itself is one of only a few things I would improve. It is clear and not tinted, although it does say it is UV light protected and has black dots. I keep this in the garage, so the sunlight almost never gets the room directly. And the wine bottles really only get ambient lighting about 95%+ of the time (if there is any light in the room at all). The other 5% or less is when the garage door is open at a certain hour of the day with the sun shining in. Having a clear door panel for me is not a huge issue for where it is currently placed. But if I ever brought it into the house, I know for certain I would drape something over the panel so that light would not find its way into the bottles. The lock itself serves a dual purpose....keeping people out of the fridge and the constant open/close of the door itself. It keeps it sealed. Also, this fridge does not have a humidifier in it. But it does have a defroster. The only other thing that I would improve is the 1 year warranty. This is a fairly costly refrigerator. I would have hoped that would be longer. Overall, this is an excellent wine refrigerator/cooler for the beginner wine collector. I like it!

Only had the Titan for a few weeks but initial quality was very good. It is very quiet and seems to keep constant temperatures. I have it set at 54 degrees since I only stock red wine inside. If you want to cool white wine you will need a 2 zone or more model. So far, we really love it and the all stainless appearance matches the rest of the kitchen.
