No use actual underlayment the papar is not for moisture or permanent flooring. It is used floor protection only.
I would not think it would be strong enough for underlayment. It is a protector layer for using to protect finished floors from being scratched after it has been finished. We use it to protect cabinets after install on construction sites. I would be afraid that it would tear or disenagrate under flooring.
