A:  Hi AnyaB, Thank you for reaching out! This paper is a light brown. It is 7 Mil thick. The Heavyweight Red Rosin Paper (pink paper) is 11 Mil, thick so it is thicker than the brown. Thanks!

        Great Floor Protection
The Everbilt 36 in. x 100 ft. Floor Protection paper is 3.5 x thicker than traditional builders paper so it will provide more protection, while also offering water hold out properties so a spill does not be come a bigger issue. Great for short or long term projects to protect floors, countertops, tile, wood, carpet, concrete, etc during construction where there will be a lot of foot traffic. I use this to protect our wood flooring while rebuilding the hall bath.

This stuff is thick and certainly contractor-resistant
I wish we had had this material back when we had contractors doing major work on our house. We had taped the regular brown builder’s paper to the floor, but with the traffic it kept getting torn and needing replacement. This “Surface Protection” material is seriously thick, probably 3 times that of builder’s paper. It has the texture of cardboard, but is flexible. It will retain a fold, so don’t do that if you want it to lay flat. Same thing with rolled curvature, which it retains. See photos of both. But if you tape it to the floor with masking tape it stays there and is flat. So far we used it for drip floor protection while painting, for which it is definitely overkill. It will certainly be deployed next time we have contractors working though.

        Great for lots of projects
This is a great product to keep around the house, garage, or shop. Not only can you use it for home remodeling, painting, wall repair, place on tile and hardwood floors to move appliances or furniture, virtually anything where you want to protect the flooring in your home. You will see from the photo that this is a HEAVY gauge paper roll. Thickness measure .027" thick. I have found unlimited uses, such as under the motorcycle when working on it. It will absorb lots of oil and water and protect the floor.

        Good Quality Heavy-duty Surface Paper
I keep paper roll similar to this in the shop all the time. I use it for painting projects often. I cut a piece large enough and then tape it down. I can set my project on the paper and know the floor is protected. This paper is heavy-duty and will not tear as you put things on it and move them around. I also use it to move heavy items around on a dolly or hand truck and want to protect the floor surface or paint. This good quality heavy-duty paper you can use for all kinds of projects. I will keep this paper on hand.

        Great for full renovations
This paper is super thick and gives extra protection to you floors from demolition debris, falling tools and spilled liquids. At 20 mils, its is twice as thick as the builder's paper I use and 3.5x thicker than the traditional. The thickness helps the paper absorb shocks and liquids over a longer period. I have trouble tearing it myself and, with that, it last on the floor, especially during long full renovations. Thinner papers can tear and come loose. Overall, if you have an expensive or newly refinished, or long renovation, go with this paper! It is made in the USA from recycled materials.

        A DIYer's best friend
Over the past two years of heavy remodels and home DIY projects, I've used various floor protections: towels, moving blankets, canvas drop cloths, and paper. This floor protection roll from Everbilt is by far the best option. At 36 inches wide, the roll allows for floors and walls in very large spaces to be covered efficiently and with the minimum amount of contractor tape. This roll has 100 feet, so I can entirely cover the very large rooms in our home without running out. The thickness of the paper is perfect. The weight of the paper makes handling easier, especially when it comes to folding the ends for a straight cut and when cutting out spaces to fit over the HVAC registers. I found that the usual thin paper rolls don't help much for anything other than dust. Paint and drywall mud slops go right through the thin stuff. This Everbilt paper is 0.02 inches thick so that the paint and mud never touch the hardwood flooring. The roll is made from recycled paper, so it's better for the environment, too. I greatly appreciate that the thicker paper roll doesn't slip underfoot or under ladders like towels, blankets, and drop cloths do. The work area stays safer, and I can focus on the job rather than on the equipment. I've used other brands' version of the heavy paper floor protectors, and considering the value and quality of Everbilt's offering, this is the one that is the DIYer's best friend.

        Thick and sturdy
This Everbilt heavy duty floor protection paper roll works great. It is made of 100% recycled materials and is thicker than builder’s paper so it holds up well to lots of traffic. It is moisture resistant and three feet wide by a hundred feet long in one continuous roll that you can cut to size as needed. I used it in a floor installation and between the new floor and the baseboards as protection from paint as well. Could be used for many things.

        Great for surface protection
This Everbilt 36 inches x 100 feet temporary surface protection is super thick, not your regular surface protection. With this Everbilt surface protection, you won't have to worry about paint or other products damaging the surfaces being protected because this roll is super strong. You can cut this with scissors or a box cutter, and both will work. The roll is not that heavy, and with 100 feet, you will have plenty of protection for all of your projects. I'm using this to protect my floors while painting the apartment. Highly recommend it!

Great product, easy to work with.
Fit perfect for my stairs, before the holidays I need to get a coat of paint on the risers. In the past I had used to roll of paper and tape, I think it took me longer to tape and prepare then it did to paint the stair raisers. A quick cut with the razor knife and I am off and running to cover the stairs. The nice part is I can leave these on without having to deal with the slippery paper that I used last time. Also I was able to cut strips of this and put it under the base board where the carpet was, one of the areas I hate painting the most. With this being thick enough a little bit of convincing and the thick paper will slide under the baseboard and keep the carpet away for me to paint the baseboard without paining the carpet. When I am done a quick rundown the edge of the paper and paint to make sure it does not lift when I remove the paper. This is much better than the paper I was using. In fact, I think this is strong enough I could keep it and use it next year or the next time I need to paint the stairs or base board and with kids as active as mine, this will be often.

It can be used to protect almost everything.
It is a handy surface protector to have around the house. It's 3.5 times thicker than builders paper (20 mil), moisture resistant, and 100% recycled paper. It can be used as a foot traffic carpet runner protector to prevent soiling the floor when moving in/out some furniture. A cabinet and drawer surface protector. A temporary table protector in place of the tablecloth when serving boiled crawfish, crabs, lobster, and other shellfish or as a package space filler when mailing fragile/breakable items. This product is much better in place of styrofoam to protect our ecosystem. It is biodegradable and easy to handle on windy days.
