A: Mine did not have a plug. I put landscape fabric at the bottom then filled 3/4 with gravel another piece of landscape fabric and the remainder with dirt.

Q:What is the ?top? width of the 36? inch tall Sonata pot please? It says width 18?, but it shows this as the bottom measurement, there is no shown top measurement on the drawing.

A: The dimensions of these planters are: 36” tall TOP: 18” square (outer measure), 15” square (inside measure at top) BOTTOM: 12” (outer measure) These are great planters at a fair price. I've had them for a couple of years through freeze and direct sun. They look brand new. Would highly recommend.

A: That depends because its really up to you. I added rocks as a filler first to help weigh down the planter and to not use so much dirt. Then added mesh on top of the rocks for drainage before adding the dirt.
