Worst Mistake On a 100K Deck
1 month completed I now wish I had done one thing different, I wish I had not purchased this TimberTech Ashwood decking. As many others mention it scratches with a light breeze, seriously! Framing was 12-on-center using 2x12's and still some of the deck boards have warped. Some have raised on the ends while others in the middle, overall garbage. If you're spending what I spent to build a new deck my advice is to either go with traditional Cedar or the better known competitor to this product.

Fantastic Product
Fantastic product, used screws vs clips. Cut ends need special glued on pieces to match top. Wish they sold those. We are in Eastern Washington with wind and dry climate, Jensen this pvc decking is required to last years. Would use again. Deck is over 450 square feet. So expensive but very nice. Waiting for swim spa!

I rebuilt my bridge after 20 years as a Covid project so have lived with the Azek Vintage in Mahogany for 2 full years and I love it. My old composite got slippery in the winter so I tore it out and replaced it. We live in Minnesota so I shovel it (with a plastic shovel, not metal) and have both rinsed it with the hose and pressure washed it. No problem. I followed the instructions on stringer spacing and anticipated it expanding in the sun and left appropriate gaps to accommodate.

The boards are a beautiful color although a bit more grey toned that it appears in the marketing pictures. The TimberTech fasteners are so easy to use. The deck turned out beautifully!

what was sent was top brownstone and grey color in center. LOOKS HORRIBLE!
my steps are the nice brownstone on top and ugly grey on the sides.

For the price of this stuff, you would think the quality was better compared to a lot of the options out there. I just finished installing this as a 20x14 low level deck, and have already noticed surface scratches in several areas. We have barely put it to use yet and I have been very careful moving anything over the surface of it. A couple chairs and a table all of which have plastic sliders on the bottom, and are fairly lightweight could not have caused this already? The manufacturer edge on these boards are not square either so you have to cut all ends to make everything line up. I had much higher hopes for this product. My order was also delayed twice before it arrived. I am still awaiting a call back from several attempts of calling my local Home Depot store and talking with management (was assured a call back yesterday and it did not happen). Kinda feel like a dog chasing his own tail at this point... You're better off with treated lumber compared to this stuff!

Just installed a porch 24x6. I bought the 20ft sticks to save on price but they were just a bit bowed and took more labor to have it look right. Overall very satisfied, will know more next year on how it survives the winter.

your store tries to deliver one board 3 times. every time it is brought in a broken condition. I was in your store last week, the manager said they can't give out this board because it's broken. I hope that 4 times, my board will be brought in good condition and will be able to pack it well before shipping so that I get a quality product. we ordered more than 50 boards from you, and each time we received the goods, we received several pieces of broken ones. I haven't been able to finish my deck for more than 3 months.
