Product Details

Quick-Release Ladder Brackets attaches dock ladders on the dock quickly. The aluminum mounting plate with stainless steel locking pins secures to dock, making ladder installation and removal easy at the beginning and end of the season. Brackets stay installed on the deck year-round. When you're ready to install your dock ladder just slip it over the posts. Stainless steel locking pins keep the ladder from slipping away from the posts. Locking pins are attached by cables to the bracket plate so they do not get lost.
  • 7 in. plus/minus 0.5 in. pin spacing - 2nd pin is adjustable

          While it was a nice idea, the ladder fit on the brackets was a bit sloppy and required me to purchase several 1/2" stainless washers to hold it down tighter. I also had to re-drill the ladder holes as some of the the pins were slightly larger than the hole they were supposed to go into.

          Installation of Quick Release brackets....
          Understand that this item is for universal application to Tommy Dock swim ladders, but the lack of any instructions as to how to install it correctly to the different ladders for maximum strength is unacceptable...and the answer to my question is even worse. I have no problem with the ladder...it appears to be quite study, but aligning the brackets correctly, and utilizing the slotted hole in the right position is critical. The pins are a very tight fit in each of the holes in the base of the ladder and the slightest variance when assembling causes extreme frustration and numerous redos. I believe the brackets are essential for use in salt waters environments and the inclusion of a "universal" instruction sheet is paramount for clarify and quick installation.
