Q:I just received this unit yesterday & when the compressor kicks on it makes a loud & abnormal buzzing sound. Normally this wouldn?t bother me as I like some sound when I sleep but this is pretty disruptive. Is this considered normal with this unit?

Solid portable AC unit
We were in Utah, near a popular national forest, and found our RV's two AC units could not keep up with the temps and strong sun in our fifth wheel. I'm happy to report this model did a great job cooling down our 14 x 8 x 9 garage space using our exhaust vent in the garage. The important thing to note on portable AC units is to read the manual and follow the directions as indicated. If you don't, you may experience issues as they have very specific requirements for use modes.

Just bought mine and Installed it Just curious does anybody else have this issue it’s only been running a couple hours and I have a 5 gallon bucket that’s green pretty close to halfway full seems like something is not right??

Happy in Arkansas
My main unit went out for our 2870 sq ft house, will be at least 4 days for the part to be delivered, bought two of these units I was very impressed with the quality of the packaging (Apple-like) and the thoughtful details and design, easy setup with everything needed supplied, very happy that the window adapters fit my two different sized windows, set up the Bluetooth/wireless app which is a nice plus Really impressed with the whole package and performance and for $429 ea plus tax at Home Depot

Great but not perfect
Blowing power and coolness is great. Also pretty quiet. Only problem is that I had to add a shield for it to blow directly on me. It doesn’t swing down far enough.

Unit really cools things down
Purchased when I lost my main HVAC unit so we wouldn’t suffer completely in the 102 F Texas heat wave. Set-up was quick with window insert and unit is delivering as promised. Air temperature coming out of the unit is 50F which is more than enough to make a difference in the 350 sq ft room size it’s designed to cool. Haven’t relocated to the bedroom but running with the fan on high and noise is ~ 60 dB about three ft from front of the unit.

AMAZING KEEPS 52’ CAMPER COOL n WARM
This unit is awesome! We have it in the living room in the camper we live in all year around as we travel! It cools awesome when it’s a 106 outside and keeps camper at 66 and lower inside, and winter it keeps in nice and warm at an average temp of 70 and above and never have trouble with pipes freezing at temps 20 and below and our camper is 52’ foot long with a bunk house in the back!

Cools the rooms down immediately
I am totally satisfied with this A/C I always buy LG, at the time I needed it they were all out, so I tried the Toshiba and I’m very impressed with the quality of it, so I purchased two more, I have three and right now it’s 100 degrees outside, I have a very hard time breathing on regular days. but it’s nice and comfortable inside where I can breathe good now with the A/C ‘s all working in each room and kitchen. Works great
I love this air conditioner it works great The only problem is I'm venting it out a patio door so I need more clips to hold the sliders cuz it's 63 in vertical that's a long throw and those things are heavy. But I love it it's quiet it's efficient and pretty cool looking
