The wood slab separators on our driveway had splintered and in some areas had rotted away. The driveway which is large, was starting to look shabby. The trim-a-slab works as advertised, looks great, and improves the looks of the driveway. It takes some work to get the wood separators out deep enough for the vinyl to lay smooth in the areas that are not damaged. I found a chisel and hammer to be effective to remove sections that were not rotten. However once out, the new vinyl installs quickly and is definitely worth the effort.

We absolutely LOVE this product. It was easy to install, and looks great. We installed 540 feet in our large driveway after removing the old wooden spacers and dirt in the seams. After trying a couple of different ways to cut the Trim-a-slab, we settled on our PVC cutters, which did a quick and clean cut. We did not use any epoxy or other adhesive, and they are firmly in each seam, without worry they will pop out. One of us laid out the product and the other went behind to step on it to seat it in the seams.

This product is of good sturdy quality. It was fairly easy to install in the front walkway of our rental property. The only flaw was that it marred easily during the installation. So be careful when using a rubber mallet - but once we placed a cloth between the rubber mallet and the expansion joint, it went in quite effortlessly and without any markings.
