A: There's not a cleat or any other mounting piece. We used a board, cut to size, to fit behind the back splash. There's an space that the board fit/filled in. Screwed that to the wall first. Then also drilled a hole on each side under the curved top rim. There's a small flat area under there, that part of the back. It allowed us to bolt the sink into the 2x4. This work perfectly. Other wise it would stand free, allowing movement. I'm very pleased with this sink. I've had mine for 2 years and love it. Recommend it. But think it should have those 2 holes pre-drilled. Hope this helps.
A: We didn’t need anything extra for the sink and we have used it during a remodel very nice product .
A: It does not
A: No it doesn’t, but l install my sink with no cleat at all, after set up and attached the sewer pipe l did glue it to the wall with a heavy load of waterproof caulking ..!!
A: There is no cleat necessary to install this model sink and none are listed in the manual. It is a very easy and basic installation. Here is the link for the installation and parts included: https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/3b/3b7178b8-bf02-40fc-a538-49caeb7b5fbc.pdf
A: I installed the sink a couple of years ago. I did not get a cleat in the box. Maybe I mistook it as packaging and tossed it, I don't remember. I used a thick bead of clear silicone around the top and sides to help hold it steady to the wall. The bead is still intact. So far so good, but I know I will fabricate a wooden cleat in the future to keep it better secured in place. My advice it to put in a cleat when first installing it. If it really does not come with a cleat in the box, fabricating one should be simple. Set the sink in place without the drain pipe and level it. Place fabricated cleat (or supplied one) in place, make your marks and remove the sink. Mount the cleat to wall now, reinstall the sink and install the drain line. I suggest to running a bead of clear silicone around the top and sides, this will help. You'll enjoy using this sink as I do. The faucet is high enough and swivels to tackle any cleaning jobs that come up. HD had the best price when I purchased mine and included free delivery.
A: Our sink comes with a WALL ATTACHMENT that is meant to help stabilize the sink. This wall attachment is NOT MEANT to be used to mount the whole sink onto the wall as it only serves the purpose of keeping the whole utility sink stable.
A: No, this stainless steel sink is not certified by NSF or CSA.
A: This replaced a sink in the laundry. Did not require anything beyond what was already there (1.5") It comes with faucet and supply lines. Just place it and hook it up. I love mine. So much nicer than the original tub, although not as big.
A: Thank you for your interest in TRINITY products! The TRINITY TSL-0301 has actually been retired and is no longer available and will be replaced with another model of sink shortly. If you send us an e-mail at email@example.com and let us know what you're inquiring about, I can send you the spec sheet for the new sink once it becomes available.
A: Just like installing a kitchen sink and faucet. Standard fitting 3/8 etc. and I did use putty on the strainer installation. Again standard strainer.
A: Yes, it is removable. You are correct, it unscrews.
A: I can see that there is a seam there, but I am unable to unscrew it, so I don't think so.
A: Yes it is removable by un- screwing it from the faucet neck.
