Q:When using 4 cycle True Fuel for a Toro snowblower, does oil still need to be added?
    by|Nov 24, 2023

    Answer This Question

A:  You do not need to add oil to the 4-cycle fuel for the Toro snowblower. However the machine still needs oil and should be maintained as usual via the oil intake location.

Q:After pouring into riding lawnmower or snowblower tank, do I run it until empty before storing for the season or do I run it for a bit to get it into the machine and leave the rest in the tank until the next season?

      Answer This Question

A:  The best option is to run your machine until empty and then put in TruFuel. Run the machine a little bit to work the mixture though the machine. You don't need to drain the tank or run it empty once TruFuel is in the system.

Q:Can you use this fu in a boat

        Answer This Question

A:  Hi Bill. Thank you for shopping at The Home Depot. The TruFuel 4 Cycle Ethanol-Free Fuel 32 oz is ready for a 4 Cycle engine not for a 2 Cycle gas oil mix engine. If you add the oil mix for your 2 Cycle engine to this mix before use, then yes, you could use this fuel. It would be simpler to just use the pre-mixed 2 Cycle gas. https://www.homedepot.com/p/TruFuel-50-1-Pre-Mixed-Fuel-Plus-Oil-6525638/202532877 Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. I have been using TruFuel for my string trimmer, leaf blower, and lawnmower for 2 years. Absolutely love the product. No mixing of stabilizer required. I have actually left this product on my equipment over the winter. Equipment starts in the spring with no issue. Highly recommend Tru Fuel. You will not be disappointed.

        Worth the Price
I bought this TruFuel for 4 cycle engines to use with an inverter generator I recently received. The instructions stated that it was best to use ethanol-free gas so I quickly went and got two cans of this. I started using the TruFuel 50:1 gas & oil mix in my 2 cycle weed trimmer a couple of months ago. It works so well that I didn't hesitate to buy this for the generator. This TruFuel is obviously more expensive than regular gas but it stores much longer, is ethanol-free, and is 92 octane (that's premium gas). What that means in a nut shell is that all the expensive equipment you use this in will last longer, run better, and start faster after being stored for long periods of time. On a side note, I recently noticed that HD dropped the price on the six pack of this TruFuel. While it's still too much for me to use all summer in my lawn mower, I am going to use it the last one or two times I mow before the season is over. That way TruFuel is in the mower over the winter not regular gas.

A little pricey, but great fuel when you’re on the go and don’t have time for a gas can and going by the gas station.

I use TrueFuel when I store my lawn equipment off-season. Always starts right up the next season.
