This tub exceeded our expectations. My wife just had hip replacement surgery and required a low-step-in tub. The universal tub fits the bill in all aspects. I would highly recommend this product to everyone who is in need of a walk-in tub. Picture is sent also.

First of all, I would never try to install this myself. The dimensions are EXACT, and Home Depot's contracted installers actually cut a hole in my bedroom wall to slide it in from the end. But they did an incredible job, and you would think the house was built around it! They also installed an access panel in the wall to get to the fixtures and some plumbing. As for the tub itself, I am delighted. Although it does not fill as fast as one might think, so I warm the seat with the handheld shower. And given that it takes about 70 gallons of water to fill to above the jets, and my water heater is 30 gallons, I had to turn up the temperature to max. This is not something I would recommend if you have young children, as they could easily be scalded. However it now fills to a comfortable temperature. And, there is a "friction heater" that keeps the water from cooling while in it. I took a 90-minute soak with all the jets on and never noticed a drop in temperature. Note that this is not an actual heater, and uses no additional electricity. I was pleasantly surprised by how roomy it is inside. I am about 200 lbs. and I fit in it with plenty of room maneuver to bathe. The 1 hp motor does not give a true whirlpool affect, but it is enough to help with circulation and swelling in my legs. I am completely and permanently disabled by a very rare disease, and I feel much safer than my old tub and shower. The low threshold at the door makes it easy to get in and out, with the use of the included handle opposite the door, and a couple of grab bars that I had installed. DO NOT use the door to lean on no matter how tempted you may be! Included in this model is something called Chromo therapy. It is an LED light with several lighting options, including one that gradually changes color. It lights up the entire bath and surround. I even use it as a night light in a single color. The tub drains very quickly as the pump for the jets reverses, and pulls the water out. If you have 2" plumbing, it would drain in about one minute, but with my 1 1/2" line, it takes approximately 2 minutes. There is plenty of room to dry off as the water drains. Taking a shower used to be such a chore that I put it off, and stayed home. Now I can take a whirlpool bath in my oasis, or a quick, easy shower with the 6' handheld shower while I sit in comfort. As you will see in the included photo, they did a beautiful installation. They did not cut corners. We also spent a little extra for the acrylic surround. And yet the entire project, from demo to completion, took 4 days. I am sure they were happy that we have a single floor home. If only it came with a television! Will have to put that up myself!

I bought this back on June 1, and my contractor was able to schedule it in this past week. This walk in is very nice and works great. The jets work so good. If your looking for a good walk in tub, this would be a good one to get 5 Stars all the way.

This is just what we needed for the back and knees. Easy to clean. Drains quickly. Both overweight but we fit for the jets. Nice product.

Had leak on tub. You have to jump through hoops to get repaired. You have to call a local plumber, negotiate a price with tub manufacturer. Then you have to pay the plumber then tub manufacturer will supposedly be reimbursed. Don’t from this company.

The construction of the fiberglass should be thicker and stronger. It needs more reinforcement, especially in the floor and seat areas. As I was reaching over the seat back in order to tile the walls I needed to kneel on it and could hear a crackling sound of the seat. I had to pad it thickly.

It is difficult for the water to drain.

So much safer than a traditional tub. The quick fill and drain options save a lot of time.The grand kids love the changing colors from the light. Haven’t used the jets yet.

Couple items missing from faucet set otherwise satisfied with product. Company did send replacement parts in a timely manner.
