My wife loves our new Modern Farmhouse Vintage Candle Gold Island Chandelier with Candlesticks. We had the same dining room light since we brought our house 20 years ago, needless-to-say it was dated. I called it "traditional, colonial", the called it ugly, junk. Now, with the new chandelier in place, I must agree - it was a time for a change.
Installation had its issues. First, be careful as the painted light looks like it would scratch easily. Second, the threaded nipple they supply is too short, I had to go buy a longer one to complete the job. I found this strange, why provide a nipple that would only work in perfect conditions, yet provide an extra 4 feet of chain that, I think, would only be needed in a handful of installations. Third, why wire a gold chandelier with silver lamp cord. See pics.
Overall, we are very happy with this chandelier and can easily recommend it to you.
