I was using wooden poles for years but had to replace them every couple of years. This aluminum pole is just the right weight..not too light that the wind blows it around and not too heavy so that it sags with the additional weight of the flag. It appears that it will hold up through the weather many more years than the wooden ones did. The pole has a clip to attach to the flag to keep it from sliding on the pole.

This is a very good and solid flagpole and it has a very reasonable price. The Flag clips on and the wind can't wrap the flag around the pole as the spinning feature on this flagpole works flawlessly. The aluminum pole is very sturdy and should withstand the average thunderstorm winds with no issues.

This flagpole won't bend or break like by my former wooden poles! It even has a spinning sheath that keeps the flag furled out in a strong breeze,not twisted around the pole.

grommet flag
This is a nice looking. flag pole, the packaging refers to grommet flags. This pole does not work on grommet flags there is no clip for the bottom grommet. customer service did not help nor did the chat. My resolution was to take a piece off one of my olds poles which has the clip and slide that onto the pole and added the plastic ring below it. I hope it works.

Only had this for two weeks so we can’t testify to the longevity of the flag and pole, but this flagpole and flag have more than met our expectations! We haven’t had to untangle or untwist it, not once!
