Product Details

The Victor Ultra PestChaser emits high frequency ultrasound that effectively repels rodents. The Ultra PestChaser is ideal for large sized areas like homes, businesses or even warehouses. To keep rodents from becoming accustomed to the sound, the Victor Ultra PestChaser emits ultrasound at varying volumes and frequencies. With over 80 oscillations per second, this rodent repeller sounds like a jackhammer to mice and rats. The non-repetitive volume and frequency levels cause discomfort and an unfriendly environment that discourages rodent infestations. It is important to note that ultrasound does not travel through walls, furniture or other obstructions. Use one Ultra PestChaser unit per room and place in an open area. This PestChaser is safe for humans, cats, dogs, birds, and fish when used as directed. Rodent pets like hamsters and guinea pigs will simply need to be moved to a room without a rodent repeller. In order to be effective, a pest control effort needs to use several different tools and methods. First, rid your space of rodents using one of the many solutions offered by Victor; whether your preference is snap, electronic, live, or poisons, there is a solution to fit your needs. After the rodents are eliminated, use the Victor Ultra PestChaser to keep them away.

                    Effective non-lethal pest replellant
I have the 3-speaker "pestchaser" stationed in my attic. After all, the attic is the first place rats, mice or squirrels will make their first appearance. Operationally, it is virtually silent (to me) and has an optional glowing red light - which I leave off to consume the least amount of electricity. My only concern is I haven't been able to find ANY supporting information about whether this is an acceptable location to permanently house an electronic device of this kind. I am not sure if it meets NEC guidelines for this use and would like to see more clarification from the manufacturer about what is considered a safe installation of their device.

                    Rodents BE GONE!
After noticing evidence of rodents in my storage area the battle was on!! After doing quite a bit of research I decided to try this 3-SPEAKER ULTRA PESTCHASER RODENT REPELLENT. I am not sure how many mice/rats I have but there is significant evidence of at least a family that has taken up residence in some of my stored boxes. After reading through the instructions it is important if you think you have more than a few rodents, to first exterminate them with either traps or poison. Other wise you run the risk of just chasing them into another space (like your house!) I put several bait traps throughout the area and waited a week and it appears they have been snacking away. Now I have the ultrasonic pet chaser plugged in and have only noticed a few droppings compared to dozens of droppings before. I have used other ultrasonic plug in devices and they bothered my dog's ears. So I put this one to the test before using it and turned it on right beside my dog and if he heard it there was no indication of it bothering him, he seemed to be completely unaware that it was on. The last device I used had a pet switch, and when I tested it with my dog his ears perked up and he quickly moved away from the device. So I am completely comfortable using the Victor 3-Speaker Ultra Pest Chaser Rodent Repellent around my dog.

These work very well for getting rid of mice and other rodents
We recently discovered a mouse nest inside the belt/motor cover of our pillar drill so we figured it was time to find a solution to keep mice out of the garage. We decided to try out this 3 speaker Victor rodent repellent as we already have a 2 speaker system in our kitchen which has worked very well at keeping the kitchen in our weekend cabin free of mice. In our case, we placed it on the garage floor aimed at the main garage door and the access door, which is one of the key advantage of the multi-speaker set up in as much as it can radiate its tone in a radius of almost 180 degrees. They are very easy to use, just place them on the floor aimed at areas where the mice are coming and going and switch them on and let them do their job. The results aren't instantaneous and it can take a couple of weeks for them to work and make the mice/rats etc. pack their bags and leave. That being said, they are a very discrete and humane way to get rid of mice and other rodents - there are no glue pads to mess with and no traps with dead mice to deal with or to explain to visitors. The only negative I noticed was that when it is on, it interferes with our FM radio in the garage, so when I'm in the workshop, I unplug the repeller so I can get good radio reception, and then plug it back in when I close up shop. Unlike our other Victor mouse repeller, it doesn't have any 'on/off' light to confirm that the unit is operational.

                    Safe and Effective
Mice and other rodents always found the underside of my deck to be a great home. I used poison, sticky traps, and traps to try to catch them. But they always returned. The best measure is prevention. This electronic rodent repellent appears to be a great solution. Other than positioning and plugging the unit into an electrical outlet, there is really no setup. The area of the deck is protected from the elements. So far after one week, I see no new signs of pests. The unit appears to be doing the job.

                    Not silent to my ears
Pest chasers can be a hit or miss. Assuming the device is functional, it also depends on the pests and the environment. I’ve tried this over the past three weeks in my pantry where I got the occasional mice who like to chew through things. At least once a week I’d see traces of mouse droppings on the floor and between boxes. Granted I don’t go in there every day and don’t have an infestation. They just like to visit. Since I placed this device in the pantry three weeks ago, I have not seen any mice or their droppings in there in the past two weeks. I hope that did the trick and they stay out. I will be also trying this Victor 3x speaker in my garage where I have the same (small) problem. Although this device is listed as silent or inaudible to humans, I must disagree. I do have good hearing and I would not use it in my bedroom. It does make a fairly quiet (but annoying) noise. It sounds similar to a low electric buzz or a super quiet / distant vibration. So it’s fine if placed in another room not be bothersome, but I wouldn’t place it where I sleep. I’m a light sleeper, so to me it would be an annoyance. I do not hear any other sounds other than that one. I’ve heard other pest repellents over the years and heard various (quiet) high-pitched sounds or clicking. In the product description it says: “Pestchaser emits ultrasound at varying volumes (peaking at 100 dB) and frequencies (ranging from 32 to 62 kHz)”.. Perhaps the other waves and sounds aren’t heard by humans.. It’s always on when plugged-in and there isn’t an off switch, just simply unplug it from the outlet. It has a six foot cord and three rubber feet. There is an on/off switch on the back to enable a slow blinking red light in each speaker. I’m not sure if the light is just for coolness or if it has any effect on rodents. There are no moving parts, just the three speakers in a plastic housing. Overall, it seems to work when placed right and the pests aren’t used to it. But again, it all depends on a few factors I mentioned above. Victor, Victorious!
I have mixed success in the past with ultrasonic pest gadgets so I was definitely skeptical when I opened the box and and pulled out what looked like a respirator from a video game. I followed the directions and placed it adjacent to the most open part of the room I was having an issue with. I was concerned how it might affect my parrot and my dog. Within the first week I have not scene a rat return to the porch. I have not noticed any affect on my pets. The lighting affect is eerily cool. There is no set up involved. This is a plug -n-play appliance. It is electrical not battery powered so if water is possible maybe raise it off the floor with a tile or piece of wood. I have my unit atop an overturned bucket. So far i would definitely recommend this product.

The pitter patter of little feet isn't always welcome
One squirrel is cute. A couple of them are fun to watch playing in the backyard. But when there's a hundred of them in the yard and they decide to live with you rent free things begin to take on a negative aspect when it comes to squirrel appreciation. I tried closing up their entry points per the pest control expert. That didn't seem to help much. They're pretty crafty and persevere. The sound of their domestic disputes directly above my bedroom ceiling and in the attic was making me a little crazy. And they really tear stuff up and bring other pests with them when they come and go. So I got this little three speaker ultrasonic pestchaser (good for all kinds of rodents) and put it in the inside corner of my eave above my bedroom and leading to the attic. Since that time I have heard neither pitter nor patter from above. The device doesn't make a humanly audible sound but sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard to rodents. It also has a pulsing red glow (no heat involved) from each of the speaker ports which - I don't know about the squirrels but it scares me some. It operates by plugging it in to a standard 110v wall socket and it has a nice long cord. It should be noted that this device does not operate through walls but only in an open space. This would be good in eaves or an attic.

                    Great pestchaser!
I have used ultrasonic pest chasers in the past, and they do work well if positioned correctly and have no obstructions. I like this Victor Pestchaser because it has 3 speakers and I do not have to use 3 separate devices for good area coverage. Because we live near woods, it is a constant battle to keep mice out of the garage and basement. After eliminating most of the latest 'family', I am confident that this repellent will keep the area mouse-free once again. Some other good features are: - Easy to use, just plug it in and no maintenance needed - Wholesome size of about 6.5" wide, 3.5" tall, and 4.5" depth - Varying volumes and frequencies to prevent pests from getting accustomed to the sound - 3 LED lights that can be turned on or off (when On, they slowing fade on and off) - 6 foot cord - Quiet and can't be heard by people or pets - 3 rubber pads on bottom to prevent sliding

We're sorry to hear about this! You should notice a reduction in rodent activity within 6-10 days. Please keep in mind that ultrasound does not travel through walls or furniture, so it’s important to clear all surrounding objects obstructing the Pestchaser®. For ultimate critter control, add at least one PestChaser® to each room or area in which you see signs of rodent activity. Removing items from the area that are attractive to the rodents, such as food or nesting materials, will also help make the area less inviting to rodents. It is good to know that the units are covered under a 30-day return policy. Please give us a call at 855-584-2867 for assistance.
