It has a 7 amp motor, as is indicated on the I.D. plate. 820 R.P.M. also/ I have had it a while, and feel it is a very good value for the price.
It's loud but super nice and works
You want to use a hand sander to sand hardwood floor?!? Sounds tedious, but sure if that's your cup of tea, drink up and enjoy! Personally, I would rent a floor sander from Home Depot... Unless you're talking just a small area?
Yes, it is. Wen tools are basically rebadged made in China power tools that come from the same factory as some other name brands at the same price range.
No sander will if it was a good job staining
Yes, but it's slow going and not made to bear down with. It's a light duty tool so you have to know it will take awhile and the epoxy will probably fill the paper so you'll need a few belts.
It's more like a rounded-off rectangle ~2.5"x.75".
Absolutely...I used it to spot sand Hardwoods prior to staining and refinishing...~20'x12' overall. Had to change the sanding belt once but you probably won't have to. Great sander for the price and it seems pretty hearty.
Yes. Be careful.
