Q:What is the difference between this model WR182R & the other weatherband model WR383R besides the price? Which is better? Which is more reliable. They both seem to have the same features.

A:  Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. WeatherX NOAA Weatherband AM/FM Radio with Flashlight (204210150) has a short battery life of 12 hours while the other model is 25 hours. 204210150 also is smaller in size and lighter. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.

Q:I just want to make sure. I need a radio for VVW on the 5,10,15,20 Mhz bands. Is this the same as the weather radio, I suspect it is.

A:  For Playing Weatherband: Adjust WB/AM/FM switch to the WB position. Turn the Volume dial to turn on the radio and adjust to the desired volume. Adjust the Tuning dial to tune one of the seven indicated weatherband frequencies. For a list of which areas receive which frequency, visit http://www.weather.gov/nwr/nwrbro.htm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is amazing. It has a super bright LED flashlight. The speakers to the radio are super loud and it has two different power sources. The handcrank is so handy I can’t camp and travel with this anywhere.
