Rusts just as bad or worse than other brands.
Weber has really gone downhill. Like other companies, raise the price and cheapen the product. The grill was kept near the house and covered when finished cooking. I do NOT live near the ocean where salt corroded it. Paid $399 + tx 426.93 on 9/24/18 Now the grill is $499 + tx, dont waste your money. Pictures attached.

Hi Robert, thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the disappointment with your Spirit E-210. This is not the experience we would want you to have. Regular cleaning and maintenance as outlined in your owner's guide are crucial steps for maintaining the quality of our grills. Even under regular weather conditions, rust will occur due to natural processes. We recommend treating exterior grill corrosion as soon as it appears with a cleaner/inhibitor Bar Keeper’s Friend and then cleaning with our stainless steel polish. We back our products with an outstanding warranty, and we stand by the quality of our products. If you still need assistance, please contact us directly & we'll be happy to help!

            Great grill
This is our second Weber propane grill over the years. We replaced an older Weber grill and it's excellent as expected from a Weber grill. We choose this grill for the features it had; the closed door and mainly the folding sides as we wanted more space on our deck when not in use. I absolutely love this feature. The knobs are nice and turn easily and the grates are flat which is a cool change from the standard grates we had before. It moves around on the wheels smooth if you need to move it. Assembly was easy. If I had to give it a con that would be the stainless sides scratch easy when putting plates, etc. on them. It would have been really cool if they were a brushed stainless. But other than that, I love the grill and I know it'll last years like our other one did.

I take good care of our stuff (clean, wax, cover). However, same issue as other users. Grill is 2 years old and is rusting, peeling, and not working as it should. Attached pics. show the corrosion. The third burner quit working at about 13 mos new. The Weber brand is not what it used to be - I won't buy this brand again.

I decided to spend the extra money to purchase a Weber as they had a reputation for a long lasting grill. Often touted as something "you could pass down to your kids." Well, thats clearly not the case anymore. I've had mine for a little over 5 years which is pretty much the same about of time I've gotten out of the much cheaper alternatives. ALWAYS kept it covered when not in use. I've gone through 3 sets of flavorizers (Weber, if you're listening, increase the thickness on the steel you use for these, they should last more than 12 months), my cast iron enamel coated grates literally began to and the gas cross-tube has literally disintegrated. Conveniently began right after the warranty had expired. Pretty disappointed.

I have owned this grill for no more then 3 years now. I can say this is not your "fathers Webber". For $500, I expected it to last much longer then it has. First, the painted frame is rusting all around the bottom and especially where the door meets the frame. So I expect the door will fall off soon. Next the "porcelain" tents have all rusted through and the grates are falling apart. Last one of the stainless steel burners has a big hole in it from rust. Stainless steel rusts? So I called Webber and they said that the tents and the grates are out of warranty, even though it clearly says I have a 5 year warranty in the book and the sticker that came with the grill. Rep tells me that is a mistake, but that they will honor it this one time. What a joke. Thats false advertising if you ask me. So now I have new burners, new tents, and new grates, but how long will the frame last that is rusting underneath? That is out of warranty. I always kept the grill covered from day 1 and I really disappointed in this product and the service I received.

This BBQ was pretty simple to assemble, taking only about 1.5 hours. The quality looks really good so far, but we'll see how it holds up over time. The BBQ was packaged quite well, and suffered no damage despite the delivery company leaving it just a few feet from the street on our driveway. Yes, it is heavy... For some reason, Weber has made the new Spirit II series not have the enclosed bottom, so you see the legs and propane tank, so I'm glad I was still able to find this earlier version on-line at HomeDepot. It looks much better than the new ones.

Ok so everyone already knows buying a Weber is going to be more expensive than the other options at Home Depot. So let’s just get that out of the way... But is it worth it? I would have to say yes. We have owned Weber before. This one was for my mother in law. We owned a much larger version that cooked super hot. Took some getting used to before we could cook the perfect steak. But we loved it once we got used to it. This grill was purchased online. No way I was buying a grill with an exposed drip pan! Don’t know why Weber is doing this. I don’t need my dogs trying to eat scorching hot grease! Not very smart Weber I must say. But this model looked nice and had the door on front so it was a winner. Home Depot offered assembly even though it was bought online. Dropped it off and picked it up a few hours later and we were ready to go. Fast and easy. Love it! Fired it up. Got to 500 degrees within 5 minutes. Cooked our Ribeyes, corn on the cob and baked potatoes to perfection. The first time out. No need to learn the grill, no need to watch it like crazy. 4 1/2 minutes a side and we had gorgeous medium rare with nice grill marks. Super easy to use. We were even able to put down the side trays and roll it right into the garage out of the weather so it will stay fabulous for at least 10 years based on my Weber experience. Being able to get it through a doorway so easily will let this grill last almost indefinitely. No worry about rusting out. My only complaint is that the gas tank insert lets the grill go all the way through and touch the ground. I read another review and it commented on a hook. So we’ll have to check that out. Seeing we didn’t assemble it we didn’t know to look for something like that. So I expect my one complaint will be exonerated once we figure it out. Now I am in desperate need for a new Weber for myself. Replacing my old large 3 burner which still works after 12 years it’s just rusted now. But all the big ones have an open bottom I noted earlier in the review. What a horrible design and cheap look for an $899.00 grill. Ours had doors. Now the doors rusted but I still want the doors. Weber please redo the next version so I can buy myself the larger one that I desperately need. Maybe my photo will get Weber’s attention.

Took 2.5 hrs to assemble. Works as expected. Pros: small footprint, starts quickly, cooks evenly. Cons: propane tank holder design (does not rest on floor, requires holding heavy tank with one arm while attaching to hanger with other), side shelves do not fold down easily (does not fold straight down, has a hitch to it, annoying but functional), AA battery required for ignition (my previous grill did not require a battery).

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and construction of this grill. Hands down the nicest and easiest one I've ever put together. Everything just lined up and fit perfectly. Electronic ignition works and the burners give off a solid even flame for ideal grilling. My top cover arrived with a crack in the side (no visible package damage) and one email to customer support (on the weekend) had them shipping me a replacement part within a day. Completely satisfied with this purchase.
