Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, this grill is able to roll very easily across pavement. If you have a bigger bump, like a step up into the garage, you might need something with bigger wheels. Hope this helps!

What is the little chain with metal hook on the end for?

Thank you for your question and being a Weber fan! The chain with the metal hook is for manually lighting your grill with a match, without burning your hands. Just place the match in the hook and light the burners, if the igniter is not working. Please contact Weber support if you have any other questions regarding your grill.

The grate size is 19" wide and 17" deep. The specifications on this grill do not mention a rotisserie, however there are notches on the sides just under the cover when it is down that look like hey might be intended for a rotisserie. See attached pictures. I don't know what the rotisserie attachment looks like so am only guessing. Might have to take the side panel off to attach it?? Good question. I am going to look into it myself.

Cheap Control Knobs
Cheap control knobs stripped within one week of purchase!!! Unbelievable for a $400+ weber grill. Will cost over $50 to replace. Beware.

Hi! Thank you for being a long time Weber fan! It is unfortunate to hear of the knobs stripping on the Spirit E-215 grill. Keep in mind the grills come with a generous warranty. Please reach out to Weber's support team for further assistance with a replacement set of knobs. Thank you!

whats with the Rust?!
Ordered and picked up this beautiful Weber grill!! Got it home, unloaded it, opened it up (already assembled) and it has rust on the stainless steel parts (shelves, handle). I expected it may be one from outside but really?? It only let me load one picture and its not real clear unfortunately. I think I’ll be returning it.

Fast, hot, and even grilling!
This thing heats up to 600°F in a matter of several minutes. Cooks evenly across cooking surface. Grates don't stick at all. Temperature is easy to maintain once you get it dialed in. Feels solid. Lights on 1st click. Flavorizer bars sound cheesy but actually work at distributing heat and creating smoky flavor and keeping juice off the burners. Also love the fuel gauge system for propane level. My only regret is waiting so long to get a Weber. I thought it was just a "Name". It's apparently one of those times when you get what you pay for. I don't know about any other Weber grills but this one is worth the price 100%.

webber lip rust
This grill is not well made. After about 2.5 years with the cover on etc the entire bottom lip, that attaches to the rest of the upper has completely rusted and rotted out. You can’t leave this outside with a cover on and expect this not to rot out. if the smallest amount of water settles on the lip of the bottom it will rust and come apart. I love Webber but this product is not well made. After 1 year the rust was visible after 2 it was coming apart. See the photos below.

Was surprised to receive this grill pre-assembled! Thank you Home Depot! Have had the grill since Christmas. Have used the Grill around 10 times. This was an upgrade from my Weber Q 3200 and i do miss the built in light on the handle. Heats very hot very quickly. Plenty of Grill space for 6 burgers or chicken. Looks very nice, except for the rust. Propane gauge is very handy. The reason for 4 stars is the side tables and grill front are already rusted. I will buy the cover and see if it helps.

Works great but wait a year!
I read all kinds of reviews online, before deciding on this grill. When I first used it, I was very happy with it. It cooked evenly, it would reach high temperatures for things like steaks etc; and everything was great. I was very happy with my purchase, as I grill out quite a bit. Then after about 10 months, things started going downhill. I keep my grill in the garage, so it's not susceptible to the weather. I even wash it down, scrub it and make sure it's in tip top shape. After a while, I noticed the burner covers started accumulating rust. I scraped off what I could, hoping that would stop more deterioration. But it didn't help in the least. Once they start rusting, forget it.....it's over. I also noticed that the knobs come off very easily and have a lot of "play" in them. You have to careful when adjusting the temp, because of the play in all of the knobs. Ok, the knobs weren't a major catastrophe, but it was just annoying. As time went by, the burner covers started rusting more and more. This caused uneven temperatures and cooking on certain parts of the grill. Then they just continued to deteriorate. I don't expect grill covers to last a lifetime but I sure as heck don't expect them to start rusting after 10 or 11 months of use. They're getting so bad, that I'm going to have spend around $50 to replace them all. I heard "rumblings" about Webers products quality going downhill within the past couple of years. Well, in my opinion, that's a true statement. I don't mind replacing parts when necessary. But I don't feel burner covers should be shot in less than a year. The grill I had prior to this one, was just a "cheapy." It didn't grill as evenly as the Weber, but it lasted over 5 years. I felt I got my money's worth, considering how much grilling I do. I'm not even at the 2 year mark with this grill and it's already costing me more money. I noticed that most of the reviews were very good. Again, originally it was a great grill and I was very happy with it. If I would wrote a review after having it for 5 or 6 months, I would have given it a 5 start rating. But the problems began after having it for a while. If you're not concerned about having to drop another $50 for burner covers, buy the grill. But if you are concerned about it, you might want to think twice before you buy it.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the trouble you experienced. We certainly do not expect this type of quality as described. This unit does carry a generous warranty! The flavorizer bars are recommended to change once they have holes corroding through them. Otherwise, they are safe to use as their primary purpose is to protect the burners underneath. We will surely pass your feedback to our design team. Please, if you have any other questions or concerns, please contact our support team at reviews@weberstephen.com. Thanks!

Not Good
Just bought this grill today and it's not good. Extremely low heat. It's 41 degrees out right now and this thing barely cracks 400. I've been grilling chicken for over a 1/2 hour now and it's not close to where it should be. Don't understand all the great reviews. This thing couldn't burn a sock. Getting my money back.

Hello, It sounds like you may be activating a safety device built into the regulator.

If you do activate the gas regulator safety device, the grill may struggle to reach high temperatures or may not light at all, even with all burners on the START/HIGH setting.

To ensure that you are not inadvertently activating the safety device as you turn on the grill, please use the following procedure:

-Turn all burner control knobs to OFF, including the side burner control knob if present.

-Make sure the grill lid is open. Open the LP tank valve and then wait at least 60 seconds. This will allow the hose and regulator to pressurize.

-Turn the appropriate burner control knob for your model grill to the START/HIGH position and then ignite the grill by pushing the ignition button.

-Turn each of the other burner control knobs to high, one at a time, and press the igniter button (if applicable for your model). Repeat this process until all the burners have been lit.

-Close the grill lid.

-The grill should reach approximately 500 to 550 degrees in 10-15 minutes.

Please contact our support team if you still experience an issue. Thanks!

Extreme Flair ups
Had my grill less than a year and I’m in a battle with Weber for replacement parts. I’ve tried 5 different brands of propane, tried cleaning the grill and components to Weber specs and still no luck. My flame is a very aggressive orange flame. Burns food. Catches everything on fire that’s cooking. I’ve thrown more food away to the amount I could of purchased a better grill. Never again will I get a Weber grill. Don’t pay for the name!
