A: the only steam feature of this microwave that I am aware of is the "Steamer Vessel" - its just a 3 piece plastic vessel that acts like a steamer. The "steam" feature in the microwave control panel is just a timer panel subset of the "cooking methods". See the attached information provided in the user manual. The vessel is roughly 13.5" x 8.5" x 5"

Take it from a techie - stay away from this.

I want to chuck this one out the door every single week. Here's what you can look forward to: - Constant crashing and rebooting. - Inaccurate date and time. - Crashes that freeze everything while allowing the heating to continue. So that stick of butter explodes all over because the stop button doesn't work, and opening the door on a running, *malfunctioning* microwave is not a healthy life choice. - Unreliable kitchen timer (and everything else). - Fingerprint smudges galore.
