Quiet and Powerful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned. As a mother of five boys, it’s a losing battle to expect dishes to be rinsed before being put in the dishwasher. And when I say put in the dishwasher, I don’t mean orderly. This dishwasher doesn’t not care if dishes are rinsed or placed in the racks as designed. Over the past five months (how long we’ve had this amazing machine) I have had to rewash about three dishes. That’s a mega star in my books!

Great Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of months ago and I love it. After purchasing this machine and having it installed I realized it is the machine that was previously here just a newer model. My favorite feature is the one (1) hour wash. I like Whirlpool products, thank you.

I've never been so personally disappointed and offended by an appliance
This dishwasher came with our house when we bought it last year, in our newly renovated kitchen. So this is not even a personal purchase, and yet I feel so disproportionately offended by this machine that I had to come here to warn others. Let's start with the SMELL. It smells musty all the time. Even in the same day that it runs a cycle, it just reeks. That's probably because it's COVERED IN MOLD. Mold, everywhere. The door, the silverware basket, the sides, the back, mold caked in the edges. I've tried using Affresh tabs - with, and without the dishes inside. I've literally shoved the better half of my own body inside this dishwasher to clean any part that I could access. I've taken this dishwasher apart, to see if there was something not draining properly. All to no avail. If I clean the mold off today, it will be back tomorrow. Why should I have to physically clean, with rags and disinfectant spray, a machine that I am supposed to trust to clean the dishes that I eat off of?! To be fair though, this dishwasher doesn't clean dishes. I have to pre-clean every dish to near spotless before it goes in, otherwise it will still be dirty after I've run a cycle. And drying?? Forget it! This dishwasher does not dry. It's in a perpetual state of wetness, which probably explains the mold. I have to hand dry every dish when I'm emptying this thing because they do. not. dry. EVER. There's never even been a happy accident ONE TIME in a YEAR that they've accidentally come out dry. Lastly, there's a vent on the front of this thing. Not sure of its purpose, but every time it runs, the vent steams and drips water down the front. This makes it literally impossible to ever have a clean machine, not even on the outside. We've finally decided that we have enough self-worth to no longer put ourselves through the misery of this dishwasher, so we're getting a new one. For my own mental health, I won't allow myself to think of all the things this God-forsaken machine has done (and likely not done) to our dishes. Why did I keep using it despite all of this? Literally just laziness. BUT NO MORE. I beg of you, do NOT do this to yourself. Love yourself. Do not buy this dishwasher.

Design causes front panel delamination
Steam comes out and removes panel lamination after 300 days. This is considered "not covered" per warranty beyond 30 days after purchase in a “one year warranty”, after 2 hours on the phone. So bad design, and bad product backing (front panel is not replaced, nor is even touch up paint provided). New front door panel is $126. New Dishwasher runs $494. Whirlpool has the right to filter their reviews, so judge positive ones with that in mind. And if you see a response from Whirlpool, “would like to look into the concerns” they didn’t after 2 hours. Stay clear!

Paint chipping
I bought my first Whirlpool dishwasher WDT710PAHW less than three years ago and the paint above the front vent is bubbling and chipping. This is a poor design to have the vent in the the front with heat and steam damaging the paint. Very disappointed in Whirlpool.

Great features. Easy to use. Quiet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enjoying it! Nice and quiet! Very easy to use. Good design.

Vent is rusted and door is bubbled from steam.
Unhappy with the door. The dishwasher is barely 2 yrs old. The vent is causing bubbling and rust. It is getting worse every day. Customer service suggested that I purchase a new door. This is a design flaw and should be corrected and paid for by the manufacturer. Extremely dissatisfied.

Rust
Purchased 4 years ago. Works average as long as you use high quality dishwasher pods. The tracks are now loose on the top rack and the clips to adjust it, adjust on there own. More importantly, there is RUST above the exterior vent now. Very Disappointed.

Good Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been happy with the dishwasher. Our only complaint is that it leaks water when you open it from the small vent in the corner
