Purchased to Flush Hot Water Heater
I purchased these hoses to flush my tankless hot water heater. They aren't as quality as the steel braided hoses, but for the purpose of a once a year hot water heater flush, they get the job done. Make sure the black washers are in the ends prior to screwing them into the connection. For flushing your water heater, I recommend using these with the Superior Pump 1/4 HP Submersible Thermoplastic Utility Pump ($48 on 4/26/22).

Hoses leaked around the fittings. Cheaply made. I would not recommend using these on your washer. The saying “you get what you pay” for holds true in this purchase. I’m surprised Whirlpool attaches their name to them. I was fine with the rubber instead of braided hoses, but I wasn’t expecting the poor design of the fittings in how loose they were made.
